1.教学内容
本课时包括Language in use中Grammar focus部分,具体内容为:一般现在时肯定句的用法(含第三人称单数的用法),以及否定句、疑问句的基本用法。
2.教学重点、难点
⑴教学重点

b. 一般现在时第三人称单数的用法;
c. 一般现在时否定句、疑问句的基本用法。

三、教学步骤
Step One Lead-in
Watch the video/PPT “my day”, take notes of the part of verb.
A Chinese student writes to his American pen friend.
“ I am a student of … Vocational High School in China. I live in students’ dormitory. We often get up at 7 o’clock and have breakfast at 7:30, then go to the classroom. We have 4 lessons in the morning and 2 lessons in the afternoon, such as, computer, etiquette, dancing, English, practice class and so on. At noon we have lunch at school. After school, we usually take part in different kinds of clubs or activities. They are very interesting. In the evening, we have night lessons. We usually go to bed at 10 o’clock. Would you tell me your life in school ”
They are simple present tense.
(设计意图:用故事的形式导入,引起学生的兴趣。故事内容联系学生学校生活,贴近学生实际。)
StepTwo Language in use
1. 一般现在时肯定句的构成
(1)主语+ am / is / are +表语
( am is are 用法歌诀) I用am ,you 用are ,is 连着他、她、它;单数用 is , 复数一律都用are。
(2)a. 主语+ 实义动词+ 其它
b.单三人称主语+实义动词单三人称+其它
(用法歌诀: I 、you、 we 、they 动词用原形;he 、she、 it 动词用单三人称)
动词单三人称形式的构成:
1. 一般的动词词尾+S。
2. 以sh/ch/s/x 结尾的词+es.
3. 以辅音字母Y结尾的把Y变成 i,+es。
4. 辅音字母+o结尾的+es.)

如:I don’t play soccer after school.
Wang Junfeng doesn’t go to the park after school.

一、教材分析
1.教学内容
本课时系教材《英语基础教程》(1)第五单元的第一课时,包括Lead-in & Listening and speaking两部分,具体内容为:熟悉兴趣爱好的词汇,听懂并能谈论询问和回答有关兴趣爱好的对话。
2.教学重点、难点
⑴教学重点
兴趣爱好的词汇和句型。复习初中所学关于兴趣爱好的词汇和短语;听懂询问和回答兴趣爱好的词汇和句型;听懂询问和回答有关兴趣爱好的简单对话。
⑵教学难点
在模拟或真实语境中谈论兴趣爱好。
二、教学目标
知识目标
⑴ 掌握兴趣爱好相关的词汇,如play the violin,build model cars,watching micro-courses online,hang out with friends,shop online,collect stamps,roller skating,bungee,photography,take photos, compose,gardening,growing plants
⑵掌握询问、回答兴趣爱好所使用的句型,如:
-What’s your hobby
- I like/love/enjoy doing sth.
- I'm crazy about …
- I’m interested in…
- I’m fond of …
- …is her favorite.
-What’s his/her hobby
-He/She likes/loves/enjoys doing sth..
能力目标
⑴学生能听懂关于询问和回答兴趣爱好的对话。
⑵学生能应用基本句型进行询问和回答兴趣爱好为主题的简单交谈。
(3)对以上兴趣爱好的基本词汇和句型达到听、说应用的程度。

(1)在谈论兴趣爱好中,拓宽学生的视野;
(2)潜移默化中培养学生高雅的志趣和对生活的热爱。
三、教学步骤
Step One Lead-in
Have a match.
Show the students a short video about hobbies. Have the students recognize them, ask the students write down the key words in groups, and ask them to speak out. Give the different groups marks. (微视频制作中的图片包含了初中学过的兴趣爱好的基本词汇和即将要学的词汇或短语,把一些熟悉的短语图片播放间隔时间缩短,或者几个爱好在一张图上,增加难度和竞争的氛围,用手机APP制作并配音,非常方便。)
Teacher:What did you see in the video
The short video is about the (hobbies). It is the topic of this unit.
Let’s watch the video again and speak out the words and phrases loudly(第二遍播放的视频增加了字幕,有单词或短语).
(设计意图:本活动为图片激活,通过图片激活学生的大脑,复习以前学过的单词和词组,并对新单词和短语有个基本印象;通过小组合作竞争的形式调动学生参与的积极性。)
Activity 1. Match and think. Have the student recognize the activities and match them with the pictures. Ask them to tick the activities they are interested in.

(设计意图:巩固新词汇,通过换不同的图片让学生学习新词汇;与学生谈论这些活动也能为后面的活动做好铺垫。)
Practice. Have the students recite the phrases and have a check. The following activities may be your choice.
Have the students say the words out according to the pictures. Or the teacher says the words in Chinese and the students say the words in English in correspondence with.
Ask students to match the verb and words together, as quickly as they can. See which group is the fastest to finish it.

Step Two Listening and speaking
Activity 2. Listen and circle. Students listen to the tape and circle the activities they heard.

Activity 3. Listen and choose. Read the questions in activity 3 with the students as a whole, listen to the tape again, and then choose the correct answer.

Activity 4. Listen and fill. Ask the students to listen to the tape and fill in the blanks
(设计意图: 听第三遍录音,填写细节关键信息。)
Activity 5: Listen and repeat. Students listen to the dialogue and underline the key sentences about hobbies.

Step One Lead-in
Game:Which group is the best Revise the words and phrases they learnt about hobbies. The teacher can use the games mentioned in the previous period.
(设计意图:通过分组比赛,游戏,让学生在轻松的氛围中复习所学短语,为后面熟练准确的运用做好准备。)
Watch and answer. Students watch 3 short videos about hip-hop, car racing, parkour, and discuss them with the students using the following questions:
What can you see in the videos
Which activities do you like Why
Have the students work individually and match the words (hip-hop, car racing, parkour) with the pictures. Have a check with the students as a whole.
Discus question 2 with your group member.
(设计意图:通过视频,引出新单词,帮助学生理解新单词的意思,并自然引入如果有机会去选择这些活动,会选择哪个,并简单说说理由。将学生带入即将设定的语境里,帮助学生完成阅读任务。)
Step Two Reading and writing
Activity 8 Read, circle and underline. Have the students read passage, circle the activities that mentioned and underline the key sentences on hobbies in the passage.
Have a check with the students as a whole.

Activity 9. Read and choose. Students read passage again and choose the answer.

Step Three Production
T: Write “my hobbies” on the paper using the sentences we have learned just now, tell your classmates your hobby in group, and then hand in your papers to your teacher.
2. Teacher chooses some students to read the information in the paper and ask other classmates guess: Who is he/she in my class Focus on the third person.
(设计意图:让学生运用课堂中所学的写自己的爱好,并在小组进行介绍,达到学以致用的目的。通过游戏,转化为第三人称,为后面的语法学习鉴定基础,同时使学习变得有趣,让同学之间更加熟悉。)

Vocabulary contest: Students choose one paper one by one in groups, read Chinese say English or read English say Chinese.
Complete Activity 14 and Activity 15,then check the answer.
Ask some students make sentences according to the words and phrases.
