(1) Greet the students and show some pictures of well - known people on the PPT, like famous stars or athletes.
(2) Ask the following questions:

(3) Encourage students to share their answers and start a simple discussion.
(4) Introduce the topic of "People around us" and tell students they will learn how to talk about people in more detail today.

(4) Provide some key points for their presentations, like the person's appearance, personality, hobbies and why they think he/she is the most interesting.
(5) Monitor the group discussions and presentations, and give feedback and suggestions.

Insufficient Guidance in Group Work 1. Some groups had difficulties in organizing their discussions and presentations. Maybe more detailed guidance on how to start a discussion and structure a presentation should be provided in advance. 2. A few students dominated the group discussions, while some others participated less. In future classes, it is necessary to encourage every student to participate actively and evenly distribute the tasks within the group.
