教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语 基础模块1》中Unit 5 Celebrations 的Culture Understanding与Group Work板块。文化理解板块要求学生通过阅读关于职场中庆祝活动的介绍,拓展对职场生活的认识,了解企业举办各种员工庆祝活动的意义,感知企业文化,为今后步入职场做必要的准备。小组活动板块则是引导学生通过策划班级新年聚会的任务,让学生进一步巩固对本单元讨论活动安排的交际框架和正式邀请函的掌握,同时培养学生的统筹规划和团队合作能力。
学情分析 学生已熟悉了口头邀请参加庆祝活动的常用语句,掌握了正式邀请函需包含的四项核心信息和其各部分的功能。可将本课中的相应知识与以上内容相融合,引导学生在通过阅读了解三种典型的职场中庆祝活动及其目的基础上,精选班级新年聚会的活动安排,撰写邀请交换生参加聚会的电子邮件邀请函。

Step 2 Culture Und- erstanding Discuss and fill. (1) Conduct a whole-class activity to discuss what celebration activities there are in life and at school, and what the purposes of holding these celebration activities are. (2) Guide the students to read the text, find out the three types of celebration activities in the workplace mentioned in the text and their purposes, and fill in the following table according to the content of the reading text to sort out the key information. Deepen the understanding. By reading the introduction about workplace celebration activities, students can sort out key information and expand their understanding of workplace life.
Extract the key points of the corpus in tabular form to improve reading ability and understand the holding methods and purposes of different celebration activities in the workplace.
Step 3: Group work 1.Students read the notice about the New Year's party and circle the key information and requirements of the party. (Teachers can use the corpus of this activity to supplement the explanation of the format of the notice genre.) Subsequently, conduct a brainstorming within the group to solicit themes for the party and select one theme through discussion. 2.Cooperate in groups to discuss and determine the specific arrangements of the party. Such as selected activities (games, performances), food and drinks, background music, etc. 3.Students follow the mind map framework of Activity 11, sort out the key information of the invitation letter and write the invitation letter. 4.Guide the students to write an email invitation to the exchange students.
