The analysis of the text What: This discourse mainly revolves around the grammatical structure and usage of the present continuous tense, through activities such as dialogue, fill in the blank, and role-playing, allowing students to practice and master the present continuous tense. Why:This discourse aims to help students understand and master the usage of the present continuous tense through various practice activities, and improve their English grammar knowledge and language proficiency. How: From shallow to deep,from recognizing structures (3a) to fill in the blank exercises (3b), and then to practical applications (3c and 3d), the content gradually deepens, helping students gradually master the present continuous tense.
The analysis of students Known: Students have developed a certain foundation and language learning ability. They are curious about new things, enjoy participating in classroom activities, and have a strong desire to express themselves. Want: But for the grammar point of present continuous tense, they may still be unfamiliar and need to understand and master it through specific context and practice. Step I Warm up Greetings. 2.Show some pictures of people doing different activities, such as running, dancing, reading and ask students to describe the pictures using simple sentences. 3.Then introduce the topic of the present continuous tense by saying, "Today, we are going to learn how to describe ongoing actions more accurately." Under the guidance of the teacher, students talk about questions: "What are they doing Guide students to understand the meaning of the topic and recognize grammar forms in review activities and contexts.
Purpose To stimulate students' interest and introduce the theme of this lesson - food.
Step II Presentation Present the grammar focus sentences on the PPT and ask students to read them aloud. 2. Ask students to underline the structures for the present continuous tense and summarize the rule: be (am/is/are) + verb + -ing. 3. Explain the usage of the present continuous tense: to describe an action that is happening at the moment of speaking. Students look through the sentences in the form and read. Understand the points. Students summarize the rule: be (am/is/are) + verb + -ing. To observe whether students can undersatand the usage of the present continuous tense
Purpose By observing the grammar focus table, students can master the usage of the present continuous tense
Step III Practice Have students complete the exercises in 3b, fill in the blanks with the correct form of the noun and have them check the answers. Students read the short passage in 3c and fill in the blanks with the correct forms. After completion, the teacher will explain and analyze. Present the theme in 3d, have students practice dialogue in pairs, provide food and drinks, and use learned sentence patterns to communicate. Students finish the different activities. Observe whether students can use accurate language, perform role-playing appropriately and fluently, and whether students can use evaluation scales to standardize their performance

Step IV Summary The teacher leads students to summarize what they have learned. The teacher guides students to complete the assessment. Students recall the learned knowledge of today and complete the assessment form. To check if students can summarize the knowledge they learned.
Purpose Students can talk with each other with the expressions learned.
Step V Homework You must do: Copy the sentences in Grammar Focus. If you can: Write five sentences using the present continuous tense to describe what your family members are doing at the moment. Homework can help students strengthen the knowledge which they have learned.
Purpose Let students in different level to build up their confidence and expand language output and help students strengthen the knowledge they have learned.
