The analysis of the text What:The theme of this unit is "Unforgettable Day", and the project section of Section B requires students to create a chain story about an unforgettable day in groups. Why: Through this project, students can comprehensively apply the language knowledge learned in this unit, including vocabulary, sentence patterns, and grammar, to describe their experiences and feelings, and improve their language expression and writing abilities. How: By participating in various stages of the project, students will learn how to excavate life materials, how to construct and present a complete story, and how to convey emotions and ideas through language expression.
The analysis of students Known: Students already have a certain foundation in English, have a preliminary understanding and mastery of the general past tense, and are able to briefly describe past events. Want: Students in this age group are mentally active, enjoy participating in group activities, and have a strong sense of cooperation and competition. Step I Warm up Greetings. Have a free talk about their memorable day. Ss greet the teacher and answer the questions. Evaluate students' understanding level through free talk.
Purpose Stimulate students' interest in weather from different places and prepare them for learning new vocabulary and concepts.
Step II Presentation Divide students into groups and have them discuss their unforgettable experiences in 3a, such as where they were, what they saw, what they did, how they felt, etc., and record them. Write a chain story togrther according to 3b. The teacher walks around to offer help for ss. Students are divided into groups to discuss and describe their experiences. Students are able to describe the activities they draw in complete sentences, with correct grammar.
Purpose Inspire students' creativity and imagination, and involve them in the learning process.
Step III Practice Work on 3c Have ss read their stories to the class.Vote on the most interesting or special story. Students write and show their stories. Students are able to clearly and confidently present and describe their weather reports to the whole class.
Purpose By describing the activity, further consolidate students' grasp of the simple past tense.
Step IV Summary The teacher leads students to summarize what they have learned. The teacher guides students to complete the assessment. Students recall the learned knowledge of today and complete the assessment form. To check if students can summarize the knowledge they learned.
Purpose Students can talk with each other with the expressions learned.
Step V Homework You must do: Preview the next unit. If you can: Revise their storiesand share them with their parents or friends. Homework can help students strengthen the knowledge which they have learned.
Purpose Let students in different level to build up their confidence and expand language output and help students strengthen the knowledge they have learned.

Teaching Reflection Through the teaching of this lesson, I lead most students actively participated in group cooperation to improve their language proficiency and teamwork skills. However, in the writing stage, some students still have the problem of not being fluent in language expression.
