A Memorable Trip to Lijiang
Last summer vacation, my family and I visited Lijiang, a beautiful ancient town in Yunnan Province. We were attracted by its unique Naxi culture and stunning natural scenery.
During our three-day stay, we explored the cobblestone streets lined with traditional wooden houses. The highlight was climbing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. As we took the cable car up, the temperature dropped sharply, but the panoramic view of snow-capped peaks took our breath away. We also visited the Black Dragon Pool, where I learned about Dongba hieroglyphs from a local guide.
This trip deepened my understanding of Chinese minority cultures. I was inspired by how the Naxi people live in harmony with nature. Looking at the blue sky above the old town, I felt a strong sense of peace. I hope to travel more to discover the wonders of our country.
