一、教学内容分析
本课时为导入课，通过回顾上一单元“home”的主题句式，引导学生思考如何描述家周边的公共服务设施与居住人群，学习如何用英语描述社区及邻居的信息，包括职业、地点和邻里关系，特别突出邻里如何为社区做贡献。同时，深入挖掘社区和谐互助主题，引导学生尊重不同职业对社区的贡献，思考自己能为社区做什么，培养社区责任感与服务意识，实现语言学习与情感价值观塑造的有机结合，促进综合素质提升。
二、语篇分析
【What】 本语篇围绕“My neighbourhood”展开，引导学生学习如何描述社区的配套服务设施；介绍和谐的邻里关系，包括邻居的职业、工作地点、如何支持社区志愿服务等。 【Why】 本课时初步建立学生对社区的概念，既包括周边的公共配套服务，也包括居住地的人。让学生在介绍社区中不同职业邻居的同时，认识不同职业与社区配套服务的关系和其社会价值，体会社区的和谐与互助精神，激发他们对社区服务的兴趣和参与感。 【How】 通过Simon的介绍和Amy与Simon的对话，展现如何从概括到具体地描述社区环境、介绍邻里，特别是如何通过举例说明他们如何发挥特长支持社区服务。
三、学情分析
学生已学习了一些与家庭、日常活动及简单地点相关的英语知识，具备一定的基础词汇和句型储备，如描述家庭成员职业的词汇和表达位置的短语等。然而，对于用英语深入描述社区环境、人物职业及其相互关系，学生仍需进一步学习和实践，特别是如何从一个形容词概括特点到具体细节描述的典型西式思维。在认知方面，有的学生习惯了学校——家的两点一线，对社区环境关注很少，还没有建立起社区概念，所以要从环境配套和邻里两方面建构学生的社区概念。在情感态度方面，学生对邻居有不同的情感，有的紧密有的疏离，要通过介绍邻里的活动激发学生对邻居的关注，从了解邻里入手建立与社区的联系，再逐渐激发他们为社区建设贡献力量的想法与热情。因此，教师需营造宽松、鼓励的学习氛围，通过任务培养学生的有意注意，关注社区生活，积极参与社区志愿服务。
四、教学目标
通过本节课的学习，学生能够： 1. 听录音获取Simon和Amy所谈论的各自社区的细节，完成听力任务； 2. 梳理对话中的表达并模仿，在组内分享自己绘制的社区周边图，提出建设性意见，并介绍自己的好邻居； 3. 讨论自己能为社区做什么力所能及的事情助力社区的和谐发展。
五、教学重难点
【重点】 1. 听录音获取Simon和Amy所谈论的各自社区的细节，完成听力任务； 2. 梳理对话中的表达并模仿，在组内分享自己绘制的社区周边图，提出建设性意见，并介绍自己的好邻居。 【难点】 模仿对话用英语介绍自己的社区和邻居，讨论自己能为社区做什么力所能及的事情助力社区的和谐发展。
六、教学活动设计
环节一：创设情境，导入话题，激发学生的学习兴趣。（3 mins） 回顾上一单元的主题“home”，教师引导学生思考自己家附近都有哪些建筑物及居住哪些人。

环节设计意图: 问题链帮助学生理解文章内容；角色扮演活动帮助学生代入情境，培养模仿朗读能力。
环节五：联系生活实际，绘制自己街坊邻居的简易图。头脑风暴可以为社区做些什么。（10 mins）
Draw a map. Students draw maps about their neighbourhoods and mark English names of these places. They add the new places they think necessary to the neighbourhood to foster noticing ability and critical thinking. Share and talk. Students work in groups and talk about their neighbourhoods with the map. And they introduce two of their neighbours. 应用实践之内化与应用 观察学生的画图和小组活动，了解学生的批判思维和语言运用的情况，给予鼓励或帮助。
Brainstorm and share. （1）Students brainstorm what they can do for their neighbours. Students share their lists in group and choose one item to describe in more detail. 迁移创新之想象与创造 观察学生小组交流情况，评价教与学的成效。
环节设计意图: 培养学生将所学知识迁移运用到实际生活中的能力，以及对社区环境的有意注意和批判能力。头脑风暴法激发学生的发散思维，唤起为社区服务做贡献的热情。
