一、教学设计说明
本课时以“表达自己的情感”为主题，通过阅读和写作活动，引导学生学习如何用英语描述自己的宠物、表达对家人的爱以及展示友谊的方式。教学设计遵循学生的认知规律，以英语学习活动观为指导，围绕“如何表达自己”这一核心话题，结合本单元的大问题“我们如何表达自己的情感”，以及本课时的子任务“通过不同方式表达自己”，分层次完成教学任务。在学生讨论如何通过言语、绘画、唱歌等方式表达自己的过程中，将基础词汇、句型和知识融入学习活动的全过程，帮助学生理解文本所表达的主题意义，并通过理解文章句子之间的逻辑来梳理短文内容的表达顺序。在阅读和写作的过程中，进一步了解表达自己的重要性，知道如何去表达自己的情感，并且愿意为此付诸行动。
二、语篇研读
【What】 本课时围绕“表达自己情感”这一情境，描述了人们通过不同方式表达自己的情感和想法。语篇中详细记录了人们如何通过言语、绘画、唱歌、微笑等方式来表达自己情感。 【Why】 通过描述人们如何表达自己情感，让学生进一步体会表达自己情感的重要性，通过展示不同表达方式的实例，让学生更加主动地去学习和实践这些表达情感的方式。 【How】 这是一篇图文结合的语篇，结合“表达自己情感”的情境，帮助学生理解语篇含义。使用“We talk. Our mouth, face and body can all 'talk'.”等句型，让学生在情境中理解句子。例如，通过描述人们如何通过言语、绘画、唱歌等方式表达自己，帮助学生学习这些表达情感的方式。通过“Read and number the pictures”等活动，进一步巩固语言知识，提高语言运用能力，增强跨文化交流能力。
三、课时教学目标

四、教学重难点
【重点】 能够在情境中，学习阅读小文段、看插图，体会图片和文字之间的关系，运用所学表达方式用英语进行交流，并能用核心句型描述动物的特征和如何表达情感。 【难点】 能够灵活运用所学表达方式，在角色扮演和情境模拟中实践这些表达情感的方式，并进一步体会表达自己情感的重要性。
五、教学过程
环节一：Pre-reading创设情境，导入话题，激发学生的学习兴趣。（5 mins） 通过播放chant和展示图片，学生理解内容，引出本课主题“How do we express our love ”， 激发学生的学习兴趣和参与热情。

1. Listen and chant 播放chant，引导学生思考“What’s the song about ”，引出本课主题“How do we express our love ”。 学习理解之感知与注意 观察学生能否根据歌曲内容，理解歌曲主题是“我们如何表达爱”。
2. Look and think (画廊） 画廊活动。引导学生讨论： How do you show your love to your parents/pets/friends 然后出现对父母/宠物/朋友表达关爱等图片。 学习理解之感知与注意 观察学生是否能够积极参与到讨论中，说出向家人和朋友表达关爱的词汇。
设计意图： 通过chant和图片激发学生的兴趣，引出本课主题“How do we express our love ”，唤起学生乐于向家人和朋友表达关爱的品质，为本节课的学习做铺垫。
环节二：While-reading 指导阅读，体会句型含义和用法，明确句子之间的逻辑关系。（20 mins） 通过呈现阅读语篇中的四幅插图，引导学生观察图片并思考“How do they express their feelings ”，从而导入本节课的话题。再通过圈出有关情感表达方式的词汇、阅读连线、阅读并理解表达方式的句子等活动，帮助学生体会句型的含义和用法。

6. Read in groups 分组朗读。 应用实践之内化与运用 通过观察学生的朗读情况，检测学生是否能发音正确。
7. Let’s think 完成“Ways to express myself”的思维导图。 应用实践之分析与判断 观察学生能否根据所学内容，完成思维导图的制作。
设计意图： 通过本环节的活动，学生将深入理解如何用英语表达情感，并通过多种方式练习和应用所学的句型和词汇。通过观察插图、圈出关键词、匹配图片和文本、听音跟读等活动，学生不仅能够感知和理解情感表达的方式，还能通过思维导图的制作，进一步梳理和巩固所学知识，在提高学生的语言理解和表达能力，同时培养他们的创造性思维。
环节三：Post-reading通过制作和分享思维导图的实践活动，激发兴趣，深入梳理相关知识，内化语言理，实现知识的迁移创新。（15 mins） 通过制作思维导图、分享制作的思维导图获取并梳理相关语用知识，实现语言的内化和运用。
