1.exciting作形容词,意为“令人兴奋的;使人激动的;刺激的”,如果其前需用不定冠词时,要用an。例如:

2.exciting属于以-ing形式结尾的形容词,常用来修饰物,可作表语和定语。例如:
The book is too exciting. 这本书太令人兴奋了。
She is reading an exciting book. 她正在读一本令人兴奋的书。
易混辨析 exciting与excited
exciting 令人兴奋的;使人激动的;刺激的 表示某事(物)所具有的特征 常作表语或定语。作表语时,主语通常是物
excited 激动的;兴奋的 表示人的心理感受 常作表语,其主语一般是人。 “be/get excited about...”意为“对……感到兴奋”
