一、教学设计说明
本课时是该单元的Fun time和Story time。Fun time包含设计理想课桌的活动以及我们可以为教室做什么的启发式提问。Story time中是同学们一起打扫教室的故事。 教师在进行教学设计时，不仅要教授英语知识，同时要培养学生的动手能力、设计能力，并且培养学生的责任感，鼓励学生维持教室的整洁。
二、课时教学目标
通过本课时学习，学生能够： 1. 读懂并复述Story time的故事。 2. 设计自己的理想书桌并能够向他人介绍自己的理想书桌。 3. 思考自己可以为保持教室的整洁环境做些什么。
三、教学重难点
【重点】 设计自己的理想书桌并能够向他人介绍自己的理想书桌。 【难点】 读懂并复述Story time的故事。
四、教学过程
环节一：利用图片导入故事，激发学生的学习兴趣。 通过图片导入故事，逐步拆分讲解故事。

1. Lead in 教师根据图片设置一个问题，导入本节课的故事。 学习理解之感知与注意 观察学生回答问题的情况。
2. Pre-reading 读前活动，利用图片环游法，带领学生预测故事情节。 学习理解之感知与注意 观察学生看图的反应。
3. Pre-reading 设置两个细节问题，帮助学生了解故事的主人公以及主要情节。 学习理解之感知与注意 观察学生的回答情况。
4. While-reading 讲解故事，并设置一些细节问题，引发学生的思考。 学习理解之感知与注意 观察学生的回答情况。
5. Post-reading 呈现故事相关的连线练习。 学习理解之感知与注意 观察学生的连线情况。
6. Post-reading 呈现整篇故事，引导学生进行小组表演。 应用实践之内化与运用 观察小组合作中学生的练习表现时，给予及时的帮助或肯定；对上台表演或展示的同学给予鼓励、肯定。
7. Post-reading 提供主要故事情节的截图，引导学生进行复述。因为该篇是本学期第一单元，因此引导学生以角色的口吻说出关键句即可。 应用实践之内化与运用 观察学生的表达，给予及时的帮助或肯定。
设计意图： 通过读前、读中、读后三个环节，将故事讲透，提高学生的阅读理解能力和语言表达能力。
环节三：针对理想课桌的话题自由表达，并思考自己可以为维持教室的整洁做些什么。 通过设计理想书桌提高学生的表达能力并引发学生的思考。

11. Let's think 引导学生思考自己可以为维持教室的整洁做些什么。 学习理解之获取与梳理 观察学生的回答情况。
设计意图： 在教学过程中，设计环环相扣、层层递进的练习形式，帮助学生设计并表达自己的理想书桌，并进行主题升华，鼓励学生维持教室的整洁。
