There was/were ... (教材P6)
此为there be句型在一般过去时中的一种句式。 was为is的过去式,
其后跟可数名词的单数形式或不可数名词; were为are的过去式,其后
跟可数名词的复数形式。如:

(2023·淮安洪泽区改编)用所给词的适当形式填空。
I was so thirsty. There     (be) some milk in the fridge. So I drank
it.
解析:根据前面一句中的was和后面一句中的drank可知句子的时态为一
般过去时。milk是不可数名词, be动词用is,过去式为was。
答案: was

解析:由句中的last month可知,该句时态为一般过去时,故动词用过去

动词过去式的构成规则 (教材P6)
构成规则 例 词
一般在动词词尾直接加-ed visit→visited
walk→walked
以不发音的e结尾的动词直接加-d love→loved
live→lived
以“辅音字母+ y”结尾的动词,变y为i,再加-ed study→studied
try→tried
以重读闭音节结尾的动词,末尾只有一个
辅音字母,先双写这个辅音字母,再加-ed stop→stopped
plan→planned
动词过去式结尾-ed的发音
1. 在清辅音后发清辅音/t/,如: worked。
2. 在浊辅音和元音后发浊辅音/d/,如: lived。
3. 在/t/、 /d/后面发/ d/音,如: wanted。

wear与put on的区别 (教材P7)
wear强调穿着的状态,而put on强调穿的动作。 put on意为“穿
上”,其后跟名词时,名词可放在put和on之间,也可放在on后面;但
其后跟代词时,只能放在put和on之间。put on还可意为“上演,表
演”。如:
She is wearing a white dress.
她穿着一条白色连衣裙。
It’s cold outside. Put on your coat, Jack.
外面冷。穿上你的大衣,杰克。
  当句中已有实义动词或be动词时,则用in来表达“穿”。如:
She’s walking across the street in her red dress.
她正穿着红色的连衣裙走过街道。

become可用作连系动词,意为“变成;变得”,后跟形容词作表
语;还可以用作实义动词,后跟名词作宾语。如:
The weather becomes colder and colder.
天气变得越来越冷。
She wants to become an artist in the future.
她将来想成为一名艺术家。

这几个单词都是由名词加-y变化而来的,其中sunny是特殊变化,

的)等。如:
