What do you want to be?(教材P2)
此句型是用来询问对方想要从事什么职业的常用句式。其答语为
“I want to be a/an +职业.”。
want意为“想要”,后面可以直接跟想要的物品。如果表示“想要做
某事”则用want to do sth.。
- I want to be a teacher.

walk与on foot的区别 (教材P8)
两者虽然都意为“步行”,但walk是动词,在句中作谓语; on foot

序数词的构成 (教材P15)
(1) 序数词1-19除了first, second, third有特殊形式外,其余基
本都是由基数词后面加-th构成。
(2) 有几个序数词加-th时写法不规则,它们是: fifth, eighth,
ninth和twelfth。
(3) 除10外的整十数序数词的构成方法是先将整十数基数词词尾
的y变为ie再加-th。
(4) 基数词中20以上的“几十几”变成序数词时,只要把个位数
变成序数词,十位数不变。
(5) 序数词也有相应的缩写形式,由阿拉伯数字后加上序数词的
最后两个字母构成。
基数词变序数词口诀
基变序,有规律;
一二三,单独记,词尾各是t, d, d;
-th,四加起;八减t,九去e;
遇到ve, f替, -ty变为-tie;
若想表示几十几,只变个位就可以。

解析:数词前面有the时,要用序数词表示。

always/usually/often/sometimes/never的用法 (教材P25)
它们都是频率副词,常用于一般现在时中,通常放在助动词和情态
动词之后,实义动词之前。按频率的高低可将其排列为: always>
usually>often>sometimes>never。

解析: often表示“经常”,常用于一般现在时。主语Kitty为第三人称

现在进行时的句式 (教材P36)
(1) 肯定句:主语+ be动词+动词的现在分词(即-ing结尾的形
式)(+其他).
(2) 否定句:在肯定句中的be动词之后直接加not。
(3) 一般疑问句:将be动词提至句首,末尾改为问号。
(4) 特殊疑问句:
② 对谓语提问。如:
They are singing and dancing.
→What are they doing?
① 对主语提问。如:
Miss Wang is looking for juice.
→Who is looking for juice?
