一、教学内容分析
这是一节综合活动课,本单元的项目活动是让学生设计制作餐馆菜单。活动3a让学生列出菜单菜品;活动3b要求学生为这些菜品标上价格及食材等相关信息;活动3c要求小组间交换菜单并围绕相关问题进行探讨,以便对自己的菜单进行改进;活动3d是语言输出的环节,要求学生角色扮演餐馆点餐的情景。通过本课时的活动,可以帮助学生进一步巩固本单元所学语言知识,提升学生的综合语言运用能力,也可以培养学生用英语解决实际问题的能力。
二、学情分析
学生在前面的语言学习过程中,已经积累了大量表示食物名称的词汇,认识了可数名词和不可数名词,学习了点餐的情景交际用语,这为本课的综合实践活动打下了良好的基础。七年级的学生对新鲜事物比较感兴趣、活泼好动、思维活跃,本课通过大量图片吸引学生的注意力,通过对制定菜单相关问题的思考和讨论,充分调动学生参与课堂活动的积极性。但是他们的思辨能力还不是很强,课堂活动过程中,教师需要针对如何给菜品定价、如何改进菜单进行必要指导。
三、教学目标
通过本课时的学习,学生能够: 1. 进一步巩固本单元所学的表示食物名称的词汇,在语境中正确使用可数名词和不可数名词,练习点餐的情景交际; 2. 通过信息技术手段制作出美观、科学合理、实用性强的菜单; 3. 借助制作的菜单,模拟餐厅点餐的情境,与同伴进行角色扮演。
四、教学重难点

五、教学活动设计
环节一:创设情景,谈论Happy Eating Restaurant的菜品。(15 mins) 教师通过大量图片创设情境,让学生说出图中的食材及菜品的名称,并谈论这些菜品是由什么食材做成的,以及为这些菜品制定价格。

环节二:学习制作并改进菜单,然后展示互评。(30 mins) 学生为Happy Eating Restaurant制作菜单,然后从不同角度思考如何改进菜单,接着学习如何为自己的餐馆设计制作菜单,小组成员一起在电脑上完成该项目活动,最后展示并互评。

Students look at some great menus and learn the methods to make them. Try to create a menu for their own restaurants. Students show their groups’ menus and see how many stars they can get. They can give each other proper evaluation. Students work with a partner from a different group. Role-play ordering food at a restaurant. 环节设计意图:学习设计并制作餐馆菜单,可以培养学生的观察能力、创造能力、思辨能力和合作学习能力。这个过程也是学生将所学语言与实际生活相联系的过程,可以很好地推动迁移创新。通过角色扮演,再一次巩固本单元所学语言知识,也可以让学生将本节课项目活动的成果充分利用,使学生从中获得成就感。
