Many people's closest experience with wild animals is at the zoo. It's a place where we can see and learn about animals. It's really fun and educational for us. However， is it the best place for animals to live in？
In the past， people could only see dead animals in museums. But later， animals were caught alive by explorers (探险家). They put them in small zoos called “menageries” and showed them to the public. Back then， people didn't care much about how animals were treated.

Running a marathon (马拉松) is not easy. You have to run over 42km！ Think about it this way： 42km is the same as running around a football field more than 100 times. It takes most people about four or five hours to finish. But in many places， people can choose to run the half marathon， which is much easier to finish.
On November 26th， 2023， Lianzhou hosted a marathon， too. There were a half marathon and a 5-kilometer marathon. Yutong's parents have a strong love for marathons. When Yutong was 10， her parents helped her train for her first marathon.
