But things were very different in the past. The local people used to burn wood to keep their houses warm in winter. That caused serious air pollution and local people cut down a lot of trees. People soon made laws to stop this. The laws encouraged people to use clean energy.
I think we can do something similar in China. Firstly, we can start with planting more trees and using less oil. Secondly, the government should encourage people to take public traffic. I believe we can make our world a better place if we keep trying.
