(第四课时)
一、教材分析
1. 教学内容
本课时系教材《英语1 (基础模块) 》第五单元的第四课时，包括Language in Use和Unit Task两部分，具体内容包括了语法知识 (一般现在时态) 、词汇学习 (关于兴趣爱好的词汇的 巩固和形容词的应用) 和本单元的任务 (在班级建立兴趣小组) 。这些内容总结了本单元的重 要词汇和语法，并在完成真实的任务中达到综合运用本单元所学语言的能力。
2. 教学重点、难点
1) 教学重点
通过在情境中学习，学生能正确使用一般现在时态；
通过句型操练，熟练掌握有关兴趣爱好的单词和句型的用法；
通过单元任务 (在班级建立兴趣小组) ， 提高学生综合语言运用能力 2) 教学难点
学生能准确运用一般现在时介绍自己和他人的兴趣爱好；

二、教学目标
1. 知识目标
1) 学生能掌握表达喜好原因的形容词，如：interesting, boring, exciting ...

3) 学生在任务活动过程中有自信心和成就感。
三、教学步骤
Step One Lead-in. (1m)
Teacher tells students that today we will set up several different hobby groups to attract students’ attention.
(设计意图：教师一开始就提出本节课的任务，即建立班级的兴趣小组以吸引学生的注 意力。)
Step Two Grammar focus. (15m)
1. Look and complete (I). (Activity 16)
Students look at the four pictures in Activity 16 and complete the sentences under the pictures individually and check each other. Teacher writes the answers on the board to make sure every student can understand it.
(设计意图：在图片提供的情景中，补全句子。让学生能理解并正确运用一般现在时的 第三人称用法。)
2. Look and complete (II). (Activity 17)
Students look at the pictures in Activity 17 and complete the 4 dialogues in pairs. Then four students write the answers on the blackboard to check with each other in the group. At last students act the dialogues out.
(设计意图：通过看图设置真实的语言情境，补全对话。在完成对话的训练中，综合运 用一般现在时。)
3. Talk and practice.
At first, students work in groups to introduce their own favorite stars’ hobbies to their classmates. Then, some of them will be invited to introduce their own favorite stars’ hobbies to the whole class.
(设计意图：在前面两个练习的基础上让学生介绍自己喜爱的明星的好恶，这和学生的 业余生活紧密相连，能引起学生共鸣，激发他们的学习热情。该活动在活泼的形式下使 语法学习层层递进，提高学生的综合语言应用能力。)
Step Three Vocabulary practice. (8m)
1. Read and write. (Activity 19)
Students read the sentences in Activity 19 and write the sentences after the example. (设计意图：通过反复句型操练，使学生更加熟练地掌握单词和句型的用法。)
2. Talk and guess. (Activity 20)
Students work in groups of four to describe one classmate and let others guess who this
person is, following the example in Activity 20.
(设计意图：通过描述同学的好恶，让同学猜猜她是谁，不仅紧密联系学生的实际生 活，而且活跃课堂气氛，最终达到灵活运用本单元重点词汇和句型的目的。)
Step Four Unit task. (20m)
Teacher introduces the Unit Task (setting up hobby groups in the class). The steps are as follows:
1. Write down own information.

2. Work in groups of 6. Find out the information of your group members.
Six students are in one group. One student acts as a leader. Two students are responsible for writing down the information. One student is responsible for arranging all information and filling in the following form. One student acts as a reporter to give a report.

3. Share the group information with other groups in the form of a report or a chart.
One student of the group gives a report about his own group information in the form of a report or a chart.

4. Decide on the class hobby groups.
Share the information with each other and decide on the class hobby groups. At last, teacher writes the names of the class hobby groups.
(设计意图：让学生能够运用本单元所学语言完成一个真实的任务，即在班级建立兴趣 小组。真实的任务能调动学生的积极性和参与性，将语言学习变成一件快乐的事情。而 且在活动中每个小组的成员都有自己的任务，负责好自己的事项，让每个人都动起来， 在活动和交流中都有收获，让他们充分感受到成就感和自信。)
Step Five Homework. (1m)
Ask for the information about your family members’ hobbies and give a report.
(设计意图：对家庭成员进行兴趣爱好的调查并以报告形式呈现，让学生关注家人爱好 的同时，也提高了学生综合运用本单元的语言知识的能力。)
