资源简介 Unit 2 How to open a savings account (第一课时教学设计)一、学情分析本教案授课对象是一个由31个女生、2两个男生组成的财会班。本班学生特点显著:1. 突出的优点:班级学习氛围浓厚,积极向上。英语基础较为扎实,词汇、语法掌握较 好。在每次的考试中,该班成绩都在全校名列前茅。2. 有待提高的地方:在平时的课堂教学中发现学生学习比较安静,不敢大胆发表自己的 看法;听说能力有待提高;在学习方法和策略上还需进一步引导。二、教材分析1. 教学内容本课时系教材《英语3(基础模块)》(高教版)第二单元的第一课时,包括Lead-in和 Listening and speaking两部分。本课时主要让学生通过听说活动熟练掌握银行基本服务项目及 相关服务的指令语,为本单元之后的学习任务做好语言上的准备。2. 教学重点、难点( 1) 教学重点① 学生能识别account, draw, check, exchange, deposit, insert, rate, sign等词。② 学生能使用sign your name, fill in the form, insert, deposit money, show your passport, write your name on the back, draw money from an ATM等句式给出办理银 行业务的指令或描述银行服务程序。(2) 教学难点学生在相对真实的语言情境中运用句型给出办理银行业务的指令或描述银行服务 程序。三、教学目标1. 知识目标( 1) 学生能识别account, draw, check, exchange, deposit, insert, rate, sign等的意思。(2) 学生能使用sign your name, fill in the form, insert, deposit money, show your passport, write your name on the back, draw money from an ATM等给出银行业务的指令或描述 银行服务程序。2. 能力目标( 1) 学生能听懂客人要办理的银行业务名称和咨询内容。(2) 学生能运用Asking for information:1. My boss asked me to ..., but I don’t know how to do it.2. By the way, how to open a savings account Offering the service:1. You need to fill in form and deposit at least 10 yuan.2. (Activity 1)At the beginning of the class, the teacher asks: “Do you know what kind of services does a bank offer ” Ss work in pairs. They read the sentences and match them with the related pictures. Then the teacher checks the answers, meanwhile, the teacher helps students to get through some difficult words (account, draw, check, exchange).(设计意图:通过学生之间共同阅读句子并和图片相匹配,帮助学生了解银行的基本服 务项目,并学习相关词汇。)2. Listen and match. (Activity 2)Ss look through the expressions to get the main idea of the information. The teacher helps students to understand the new words (deposit, insert). Then the teacher plays the tape, at the same time students match the information. At last the teacher checks the answers.(设计意图:学生浏览文中信息,对听力内容有个基本预测,并在同学和老师帮助下解 决单词问题。通过信息匹配,让学生在进一步熟悉银行业务和常用词汇的基础上,了解 相关服务的指令语。)3. Act and practice. (Activity 3)The teacher makes a dialogue with one of the students, using the expressions of activity 2. The dialogue is as follows:A: I want to open a savings account. B: You should deposit at least 10 yuan.Then students work in pairs to practice dialogues, following the example.(设计意图:通过模仿例子进行对话,在前两个活动基础上熟练掌握银行服务项目及其 对应的指令语,为后面的听说活动做好准备。)Step II Listening and speaking1. Listen and number. (Activity 4)The teacher says “We have known that a bank can offer all kinds of service when we need help. Now Zhang Ming is in a bank, let’s look at the pictures to get to know what he is doing in the bank. ”Then the teacher leads students to talk about what happened according to the pictures, and guess what the listening material is about. The teacher playsthe tape and students put the pictures in the right order. At last the teacher checks the answers.(设计意图:在听力活动前借助图画的提示引导学生预测对话内容,帮助学生更好地听 懂对话。并通过对图片的排序,培养学生识别信息和逻辑推理能力。)2. Listen and underline. (Activity 5)The teacher plays the tape, and students underline the sentences about asking forinformation and offering services in the bank. Asking for information:1. (Activity 6)Students read the information of card A with the help of the teacher. The teacher should help students to understand several key words (insert, enter, draw). Next students fill in the dialogue, using the information of card A. The teacher checks the answer. At last, students work in pairs to practice the dialogue.Staff: Good morning. How can I help you Mr. Smith: How to draw some money from the ATM Staff: First, you need to insert the card and enter the pin. Mr. Smith: OK.Staff: Then enter how much money you want to draw. Mr. Smith: Yes. What should Ido next Staff: Then you can get the money.As for card B, students work in pairs to complete the dialogue by themselves. The teacher invites several pairs to act out the dialogue.(设计意图:通过改控制性语言输出活动,帮助学生熟练掌握对话中的功能性语句,为 下面的应用性练习做好准备。)4. Act and practice. (Activity 7)Students work in groups of 4 students. One of the students in the group acts as a bank clerk, another three students act as customers, who want to1) open an account;2) exchange money;3) cash a check.Students make dialogues in the group. When students make dialogues, the teacher should remind students they should offer standard service. After that, the teacher lets several groups to act out the dialogues in the front of the class.
