一、教材分析
1. 教学内容
本课时系教材《英语3（基础模块）》（高教版）第四单元的第四课时，即vocabulary practice and unit task部分。通过在具体语境中的使用和操练，巩固本单元重点词汇的学习和应 用。最后以期学生能运用本单元所学语言知识完成一个真实的任务，即制作一个处理投诉的备 忘录。
2. 教学重点、难点
(1) 教学重点
巩固本单元重点词汇的学习和应用，培养学生词汇学习的策略。
(2) 教学难点
让每个学生把学到的知识融会贯通，并且应用于真实的场景中，完成unit task中的任务。
二、教学目标
1. 知识目标
掌握巩固本单元的重点词汇和句型。
2. 能力目标
学生通过讨论、比赛、对话等形式提高语言的综合应用能力
3. 情感目标
在活动过程中，学生能与人分享自己观点，学会倾听，相互合作。
三、教学步骤
Step I Vocabulary practice
1. Read and tick
Ss tick the right statements according to their own situations. If there is something wrong with the product you buy:
(设计意图：活动前，教师可以抽查学生对句子本身的理解。因为这几个选项中包含了 本单元的核心词汇和语法现象。所以教师可以先检测学生是否理解这些选项，再来了解 学生的观点。)
2. Discuss and write
Ss use the given words and make them into phrases as many as possible.

Step II Unit task
Suppose you are a member of a company. The manager asks you to make a memo for dealing with customers’ complaint. Please work in groups to develop a memo and choose the best one for the company.
1) Imagine a situation, and discuss what complaints customers usually make.
(设计意图：首尾呼应，学生可以从lead-in中讨论的那么多情况中选择一个场景作为这 项任务的背景。)
2) Discuss what the staff should do to deal with the complaints.
3) Discuss and work out a procedure on how to deal with complaints.
(设计意图：学生可以小组讨论，制定出一个处理投诉的工作程序。要求学生可以应用 表示条理和逻辑的副词。)
4) Make a memo for the staff on dealing with complaints.
