资源简介 Unit 6 Would you mind saying something about your workexperience (第四课时教学设计)一、教材分析1. 教学内容本课时系教材《英语3 (基础英语)》(高教版)第六单元的第四课时,包括Vocabulary practice & Unit Task两部分。要求学生能够利用本单元所学词汇和语法最终完成制订招聘广告 的单元任务。2. 教学重点、难点(1) 教学重点学生能够在具体语境中运用本单元有关招聘面试的词汇和句型。(2) 教学难点在教学中如何引导学生一步步完成制订招聘广告的单元任务。二、教学目标1. 知识目标通过形容词与名次的配对练习,用合适的词填空和具体语境中的对答练习,巩固本单元的 重点词汇:contact, offer, appreciate, deal with, apply for, advertise, get along with, be available, be qualified for, make it。2. 能力目标(1) 学生能够在具体练习中正确使用和操练本单元重点词汇。(2) 学生能够通过合作学习,完成制订招聘广告的设计任务。3. 情感目标通过招聘广告的设计,从用人单位的角度重新审视自己应具备的素质,从而激励学生好好 学习。三、教学步骤Divide the class into six groups.Step I Review and Lead-inDesign a vocabulary game to make Ss compete who learned most.T: In this unit, we learned many new words and phrases. They are very useful in the job interviews. Today, I want to check in what you have learned in the first three classes.The game will be divided into three parts. First part, match the words. Show the following on the screen:1) challenging a. a / an letter2) personal b. a / an technician3) outgoing c. a / an team4) cooperative d. a / an space5) experienced e. a / an personality6) available f. a / an job7) important g. a / an task8) old h. a / an dictionary9) necessary i. a / an girl10) easygoing j. a / an conferenceSecond part, Use the words below to fill in the blanks.Show activity 20 on the screen. Then give Ss two minutes to prepare for it. When the time is over, teacher starts the game and Ss can answer it by putting up their hands.The third part, Ask and answer in turn.Teacher asks one student a question about hunting for a job, such as “What kind of personality do you have ” The student should answer it quickly. If his answer is right, he may get 5 scores. The he can ask another question like this. Other students should listen carefully and try to put up hands quickly to answer his question. As a result, he also can get 5 scores. The following just like this, Ss ask and answer in turn.(设计意图: 复习词汇对于学生来说是一项枯燥的活动,在此设计一个游戏,分成三部 分来让学生在游戏中完成复习和巩固词汇的目的,以达到“玩中学”的教学理念。同时 也较好地把课本中词汇练习的三个没有多大关系的内容整合在游戏当中,帮助学成养成 学习策略,熟练运用这些词汇和短语。)Step II Make a want ad for your companyShow want ads in the life to Ss.1. Ask Ss to observe the want ads carefully and think about the contents included in the ads. Then ask Ss to answer and teacher writes them down on the blackboard. (about 2 minutes) the name of the recruiting unit (招聘单位名称)the job responsibilities (工作职责)the job titles being offered (招聘职位)the qualification for application (应聘资格) the remuneration being offered (提供的待遇)2. Ask Ss to discuss in the group about the position and the qualifications that the person you want should have and write it down on the paper., such as major, personality, work experience, special skills and so on. (about 6 minutes)3. As Ss to look at the given sentences on page 106 part 3.Teacher tells Ss they can use these sentence structures to write the want ad. Of course, if they have good ideas, they can use other sentences to take the place of them. (about 3 minutes)4. Ask Ss to design a want ad, they can use pictures, different kinds of characters and other things to make it beautiful and absorb others’ interest. (about 8 minutes)Teacher walks around the class to see if Ss have any difficulty in doing it. For some Ss who is good at English, teacher can give them even high requirements to make it.5. Ask Ss to present their group’s want ad on the blackboard. Ask all the Ss to evaluate which ad is the best and tell the reasons. Review the words and phrases that we learned in the unit. Ask Ss to read and recite the words and phrases of the unit.2. Review how to write a resume and a want ad. Point out that the qualifications that we have should be the important things when we hunt for a job. So we should work hard now to beready to get a good job in the future.(设计意图:本单元词汇较多,且拼写繁琐,学生难于掌握, 故在此通过读和背进一步 复习巩固。招聘广告和各人简历的撰写是本单元的写作任务,也是学生将来实际生活中 会碰到的具体事例。在此进一步强调、小结,同时也指出各人素质在将来找工作环节中 占据最大的比例,鼓励学生从现在起努力学习,渗透情感教育。)Step IV Homework1.
