一、教材分析

本课时系教材《英语3（基础模块）》（高教版）第九单元的第三课时，包括Language in us 中的语法部分。此部分内容主要是讲解 “V-ing” 、“V-ed”的不同用法。
2. 教学重点、难点
(1) 教学重点
① 能识别“V-ing”结构作定语，“V-ing”和 “V-ed”作定语的不同用法。
② 能使用“V-ing”的形式描述事物。
(2) 教学难点
区别和使用“V-ing”和 “V-ed”作定语的不同用法。
二、教学目标
1. 教学目标
(1) 学生区分和使用“V-ing”和 “V-ed”作定语的形式。
2. 能力目标
(1) 学生能够识别V-ing”和 “V-ed”作定语的形式语法结构，并能正确运用在具体的语境中。
三、教学步骤
Step I Lead-in
1. Retell the introduction of the Shanghai Internet Fashion Fair
The teacher presents the “Grammar focus” while the students are retelling: There will be excellent performances at the opening and closing ceremonies. The organizing committee will invite famous models ...
2. Read the sentences and pay the attention to the boarded words.
（设计意图：通过复述，检查上节课的作业，加强学生的语言应用能力，同时写出重点 语法句子，自然引出语法知识点。）
Step II Grammar focus
1. Read and underline (Activity 16)
Ss read and underline the words as same as the boarded words in “Grammar focus” .
（设计意图：通过找相同格式，引导学生在归纳中体会V-ing和V-ed两种不同形式，更 好地理解语法的结构及其用法。）
2. Choose and complete. (Activity 17)
(1) Ss choose and complete the sentences of activity 17.
(2) Teacher explains the usage of V-ing.
(设计意图：在语境中练习，熟练掌握非谓语动词在句中作宾语的用法。通过归纳掌握 动词的固定搭配。)
3. Read and complete (Activity 18)
(1) Ss read the dialogue and complete it.
(2) Teacher check the answers.
(设计意图：通过完成对话，进一步思考V-ing 和V-ed的在使用中的差别,帮助学生更好 掌握本课语法。)
4. Discussion
Present some sentences, in which there are V-ing and V-ed. I feel surprised to see him at the supermarket.
