二、教学目标
(一)知识与技能

2. 能够正确使用规则动词和不规则动词的过去式进行句子表达。
3. 能熟练运用一般过去时描述过去发生的事情。

通过学习英语中一般过去时的表达,了解英语国家人们描述过去事件的语言习惯,增进对不同文化的理解和尊重,从而提升文化自信。

讲授法、直观演示法、讨论法、角色扮演法
五、教学过程
(一)导入新课(5 分钟)
1. 情境导入
老师背着一个背包,手里拿着几张旅游照片,兴奋地走进教室。老师笑着问学生:“Hey, guys! Look at me. Do you think I look a little different today ” 引导学生观察并回答。
学生可能会回答:“You have a backpack.” 老师接着说:“Yes, you're right. I just came back from a really cool trip!(播放一段旅游时的视频,有美丽的风景、有趣的活动等画面)Guys, do you want to know where I went and what I did ”
请几位学生回答,老师给予肯定回答:“Of course you do! Well, all the things I did on the trip happened in the past. And today we are going to learn how to talk about the past events in English. That is the simple past tense. Let's start with the Grammar Focus of Unit 7.” 老师边说边板书课题,引导学生齐读课题。
(二)初学语法,认识结构(10 分钟)
1. 教师讲解
老师在黑板上写下几个简单的句子:“I play football. She goes to school. They have lunch.” 然后说:“Guys, these are sentences in the present tense. But when we want to talk about the past, we need to change the verbs. For example, yesterday I played football. Last week she went to school. Just now they had lunch.”
老师接着解释:“This is the simple past tense. In the simple past tense, regular verbs usually add ed to the base form, like 'play - played'. But there are also many irregular verbs, like 'go - went', 'have - had'. We need to remember them.”
2. 学生跟读
老师带着学生一起朗读这些句子,先全班齐读,再分组读,确保每个学生都能正确发音。例如,老师读 “I played football.” 学生跟读。老师纠正发音不准确的学生,如 “played” 中 “ed” 的发音。
3. 学习规则动词过去式
(课件出示规则动词)老师说:“Guys, look at these verbs on the screen. Let's learn how to change them into the past tense. First, for most verbs, we just add ed. For example, 'work - worked', 'clean - cleaned'. Read after me.”
老师带领学生认读,先全班齐读,再开火车读,读对的同学给予表扬。比如,开火车读 “work” 时,老师说:“From this row, one by one. Let's see which student can read it correctly and quickly!” 当学生读对时,老师说:“Great job! Your pronunciation is perfect! Next...”
对于一些发音规则的变化,如 “stop stopped”,老师解释:“When a verb ends with a single - consonant after a single vowel, and the stress is on the last syllable, we double the last consonant and then add -ed.”
4. 学习不规则动词过去式
老师拿出一张不规则动词卡片,上面写着 “go went”,说:“Now, guys, these irregular verbs are a little tricky. We can't just add -ed. We have to remember their special past forms. For example, 'go' becomes 'went' in the past tense. There is no rule, just remember them.”
老师通过一些简单的口诀帮助学生记忆,如 “go went, come - came, see - saw, they are easy to say.” 然后让学生一起朗读口诀,加深印象。
(三)精读语法,理解运用(18 分钟)
1. 学习肯定句
老师在黑板上写下 “I played basketball yesterday.” 说:“Guys, this is an affirmative sentence in the simple past tense. It tells us what happened in the past. Now, who can make another sentence like this ”
学生可能回答:“She watched TV last night.” 老师给予肯定:“Very good! You've got it. Let's make more sentences in groups. Each group has 3 minutes to make as many affirmative sentences as possible using the verbs we've learned.”
学生分组讨论,老师巡视,倾听学生的讨论,给予指导和鼓励。例如,一组学生讨论时,老师走过去说:“Great ideas so far. Try to use different verbs and time expressions.”
3 分钟后,每个小组推选一名代表汇报,其他小组认真倾听并评价。如一组代表说:“We made sentences like 'They visited the museum last week', 'He painted a picture yesterday afternoon'.” 其他小组可以评价:“Your sentences are very good and the grammar is correct.”
2. 学习否定句
老师说:“Now, if we want to say something didn't happen in the past, we use the negative form. Look at this sentence 'I played basketball yesterday.' If I didn't play basketball yesterday, I can say 'I didn't play basketball yesterday.' Notice that we use 'didn't' + the base form of the verb.”
老师让学生将一些肯定句改为否定句,如 “She went to the park last Sunday.” 学生回答:“She didn't go to the park last Sunday.” 老师表扬学生:“You're really smart! Let's do some more exercises on your worksheets.”
学生做练习,老师巡视批改,及时纠正错误。对于容易出错的地方,如 “didn't” 后面动词用原形,老师再次强调:“Remember, after 'didn't', we always use the base form of the verb, no matter what the original verb is.”
3. 学习一般疑问句及其回答
老师问:“Guys, if I want to ask someone if they did something in the past, how can I do it Look at this. I say 'Did you play football yesterday ' This is a general question in the simple past tense. And the answer can be 'Yes, I did.' or 'No, I didn't.' ”
老师和学生进行问答练习,老师问:“Did she clean her room last night ” 学生回答:“Yes, she did.” 或 “No, she didn't.” 然后让学生两两一组进行问答练习,模拟不同的情境。
例如,学生 A 问:“Did you see a movie last weekend ” 学生 B 回答:“Yes, I did. I saw a very interesting movie.” 老师巡视,观察学生的交流情况,给予及时的反馈和指导。
4. 情境运用
老师创设一个情境:“Suppose you are at a class reunion. You meet your old classmates and you want to know what they did in the past few years. Use the simple past tense to have a conversation.”
学生分组进行角色扮演,每组选择一名代表进行展示。如一组学生展示时,学生 C 说:“Hi, D. How are you What did you do after graduation ” 学生 D 回答:“I studied in a university in another city. I majored in computer science.” 其他小组认真观看并给予评价。
(四)课堂小结(4 分钟)
1. 教师总结
老师说:“Guys, today we've learned a lot about the simple past tense in the Grammar Focus. We've learned the structure of affirmative sentences, negative sentences, general questions and their answers. We've also learned the rules for regular verbs and remembered some important irregular verbs. The simple past tense is very useful when we talk about the past. I hope you can use it correctly in your daily communication.”
2. 回顾重点
老师引导学生回顾语法重点,提问:“Who can tell me how to form an affirmative sentence in the simple past tense How about a negative sentence and a general question ” 请几位学生回答,巩固语法重点知识。
(五)布置作业(3 分钟)
1. 书面作业
回家后用一般过去时写一篇短文,描述你昨天做的事情。不少于 80 个单词。
完成课后练习题,巩固所学的语法知识。
2. 实践活动
和家人或朋友用英语交流,运用一般过去时描述你们过去的经历,并记录下至少 5 组对话。

七、教学反思
1. 教学内容的组织
本节课教学内容紧密围绕一般过去时的语法知识展开,通过多种方式引导学生了解和掌握一般过去时的结构和用法。在教学过程中,结合图片、例句、情境等,使抽象的语法知识变得生动形象,有助于学生理解。但在讲解不规则动词过去式时,对于部分学生来说,记忆起来有困难,在后续教学中可以增加更多的记忆方法和练习,帮助学生巩固。
2. 学生参与度
学生在课堂上表现出较高的参与度,积极回答问题、参与讨论和角色扮演等活动。在口语练习环节,学生能够大胆开口说英语,但在一些复杂句子的表达上,部分学生还存在语法错误,需要在今后的教学中加强针对性训练,引导学生用更准确、更流利的英语表达。
