2. Ss try to understand the relevant knowledge of the development of technologies with the help of T. 通过看图，理解图片信息，通过老师讲解和自学自查，了解与科技发展相关的背景知识，培养学生观察、分析、提取关键信息的能力。 理解图片内容及科技发展历程。

Activity 2 8’ 1. T helps Ss review the words and expressions related to technological innovation. 通过词汇复习，帮助学生巩固旧知，为后续的阅读任务扫清障碍。 掌握所学与科技创新有关的词句表达。

Activity 4 8’ Ss discuss the question in Activity Four in groups： what will life be like in industry 4.0 With the topic of "one day in the future" , a seminar or presentation may be held for Ss to display and share.. 引导学生讨论与工业4.0时代相关的话题，通过主题活动展示，提高学生的逻辑思维能力和语言表达能力。 讨论回答问题、小组展示表达。
Culture Corner T helps Ss understand the general meaning about Industry 4.0 expounded in Culture Corner. T guides Ss to get the characteristics of five key Industry 4.0 Technologies in Manufacturing Sector. 综合运用略读和扫读的阅读策略，了解文章大意，引导学生学会根据上下文猜测词义，提高阅读效率。 略读和扫读文章，了解工业4.0时代的五项关键技术。
Summary & Homework 3’ Summary: According to what Ss have learned today, they try to master the knowledge points and have the assessment in “My Progress Check”. Homework: Ss write a short article on "One day in the future". 引导学生监控、评价、反思和调整自己的学习内容和进步，树立正确的学习态度和良好的学习习惯。 回顾本课所学，通过自我评价，学会反思和改进。
