T helps Ss to understand the two questions before the passage in Activity Two and asks Ss to think about the questions: (1) Why is big data important (2) What is big data used for Ss use the reading strategies of skimming and scanning to get the answers as soon as possible. T offers two topics for Ss to choose for the passage： A: Big data in work √ B:Big data in study 通过略读全文，了解课文大意，选择关键词，进行读前预测。通过扫读，找出问题答案，培养学生运用略读、扫读的阅读策略和分析、判断的能力。 略读文章，总结关键词，预测文章主题，并做出正确选择。扫读文章，明确细节，找出问题答案。
