How’s the weather 天气怎么样 相当于“What’s the weather like ”。是用来询问天气状况的常用句型。
其句末可以加上时间或地点状语。
答语常为：
①“It’s+表示天气情况的动词的现在分词.”
②“It’s+描述天气的形容词.”
③“描述天气的形容词”。

your city 你所在的城市天气怎么样

How’s your holiday going 是询问对方假期过得如何, 想了解对方的假期体验或感受的句式, 是一种友好的问候方式。
going在这里不是指真正的移动,而是表示假期的进行情况或状态。
其句式“How is...going ”也可用于其他的场景, 如：

some day 将来; 有朝一日
用于将来时态, 表达对未来某一天的期望或设想。
Some day I will travel around the world.
有朝一日我会环游世界。
some day 意为“将来;有朝一日”,表示将来的某一天,用于表达对未来某个时刻的预期、愿望或信念。
one day 意为“一天;有一天”,表示过去或将来的某一天,表示将来的某一天时可与some day互换。
