A
Koalas are often called koala bears, but they are not bears. They have small eyes, a big nose and round ears. And they have no tails. They can run as fast as a rabbit. They can also climb trees very well.
A koala mom usually has one baby at a time. When the baby is born (出生), it is only 2 cm long. It has no hair, no ears, and can’t see anything. It lives in its mom’s pouch (育儿袋), and stays there for about 6 months. That’s when it starts to see and grows ears and hair. Buffaloes (水牛) are big and strong animals with long horns (角). They love to stay near water because water helps them stay cool. Buffaloes always live in a group. If a baby buffalo goes away from the group, it can be in danger, so they must stay close together.
