《Unit 10》教学设计
教学目标:
1. 能够运用所学的知识,在图片的帮助下,读懂会说Read and say 部分的小故事。
2. 能够利用本单元核心语言Can you teach me 询问对方是否可以教自己,并用No problem.做出肯定的回答。
3. 能唱出本单元的歌曲Can you sing and dance
4. 能够对自己在本单元的表现做出正确的评价,完成Reward time.
教学重点、难点分析:
重点:能够运用所学的知识,在图片的帮助下,读懂故事并将Read and say部分的小故事补充完整。
难点:读懂会说Read and say 部分的小故事。
课前准备:
课文挂图、小猫和老虎的头饰、本单元所学的单词和短语卡片。
教学过程:
一 .Warm up
1. Greeting
T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today
Ss: Fine, thank you. How are you, Miss Liu
T : I’m OK.
设计意图:课前与学生自由对话可拉近师生距离,自由会话复习句子有利于培养口语的表达能力。
2. Say a chant of the last unit “What Can You Do ”
设计意图:以chant形式,营造了浓重的英语学习氛围,调动了学生们学习英语的积极性。
2. Review the words and phrases.
Read the word pictures one by one.
Pictures: sing , dance, jump, run, climb the tree, fly a kite, play the piano.
设计意图:复习动词及词组为学习新知做铺垫。
二.Presentation
Today we will go on learn unit 10.
1. T: Now I have many questions for you. Who can help me solve these questions
出示课件中的问题。
设计意图:设计与课文有关的问题,引出新知,学生自主回答并汇报,体现了自主探究的好处。
OK now today let’s read the story about the cat and the tiger.
2. Read and say the story of picture 1 by yourselves. And answer the questions: Can the cat jump Can the tiger jump Does the cat teach the tiger Make the students to know the meaning of “teach”. 讲解No problem.
Discuss the questions in your group and supplement of story.
设计意图:小组间汇报并回答问题,增强了团队合作精神。
3. Read the story of picture 2. Answer the questions: “Can the tiger run Does the cat teach it ” Discuss the questions in the group and report results.
设计意图:带着问题理解短文,学生自主学习目标明确。
4. Read the story of picture 3. Answer the questions: “What can the tiger do What can’t he do ” Discuss these two questions.
设计意图:进一步理解短文内容,使学生积极参与课堂教学活动,乐于与同伴合作和用英语交流。
5. Read the story of picture 4. Answer the questions: “Where is the cat Where is the tiger Is the cat smart Is the tiger happy 此处鼓励学生独立回答问题。
设计意图: 小组合作并汇报学习成果,培养合作探究的精神。
6. T: What do you think of the cat and the tiger Lead the students to know the cat is clever and helpful. The tiger is ungrateful and treacherous.
设计意图:小组讨论总结得出结论:帮组别人是好事,但要懂得保护自己。
三. Practice
1. Show some cards: speak English, climb the tree, run, jump, play football, play the piano. (此处强调the 的用法)
Use the sentences “Can you ... ” ask and answer.
Practice in the group.
设计意图:利用大量动词及词组来练习重点句型。
2. Listen and do
Find two students and answer the question “Can you play basketball ” Lead the students to answer with “Yes, I can. /No, I can’t.” If your answer is right, please jump the left side, if your answer is wrong, please jump the right side, at last, compare which group is the winner.
设计意图:小组比赛练习重点句型,鼓励学生自由提问和回答自己的问题,寓教于乐,兴趣会很高涨。
四. Consolidation
1. Open your book and listen to the song “Can You Sing and Dance ”
设计意图:打开书初听歌曲,给提供认知的过程。
2. Read the phrases of the song
Sing and dance, fly a kite, play the piano, ride a bike, a lot of things.
设计意图:复习歌词中的短语,使学生能在下面的歌曲学习更容易接受。
3. Read in your group and then read follow the teacher.
设计意图:进一步理解歌词
4. Listen and sing the song follow the tape.
设计意图:听歌曲,既加强对听力的训练,更能体现集体合作的力量。
5. 根据自己的喜好,替换歌曲中的短语,变成属于自己的歌曲

设计意图:此环节的设计,为了让学生理解歌词上的知识并且又能高于书本,不仅会唱歌曲,还能以此来拓展学生的思维,改编歌曲,培养了学生学习英语的兴趣。
6轮流完成Reward time 中的任务,根据自己的表现画出笑脸。
五.Summary

Students sum up the knowledge.
设计意图:由学生总结本课所学的知识点,更能体现自主探究合作的学习方法。
六. Homework
1. Read the story and act in the group.
2. Say the phrases and sing the song.
3. Report results to your patents.
设计意图:作业设计既注重了基础,又有一定的拓展,也在素质和传统教育相结合的今天,让学生们发散思维的同时进行知识的巩固。
