“although”是一个连词，用来表示让步关系，意思是“尽管”“虽然”。
1. Although the weather is bad, many people here are still in high spirits.
Although it was raining, we still went out for a walk.
尽管下雨，我们还是出去散步了。
Although he is young, he knows a lot.
尽管他很年轻，但他知道很多。
“although”和“but”都可以表示转折，但“although”更正式，且不能与“but”同时出现在一个句子中。

2.Everything looks grey, and you can’t see much because of the heavy fog.
“because of”是一个复合介词，用来引出原因，意思是“因为”“由于”。它后面通常跟名词、代词或动名词。
She was late because of the traffic jam.她因为交通堵塞而迟到了。

与“because”的区别： “because”后面跟的是句子；
“because of”后面跟的是名词或动名词短语。

e.g. It seems that he is lying. 似乎他在撒谎。

v. 倾倒；倒出
pour...into... 把……倒入……
e.g. He poured the milk into the glass. 他把牛奶倒入玻璃杯。
pour还可指 “倾泻；大量涌出；喷发”（常指液体、人群、光线等）
e.g. The rain poured down. 大雨倾盆而下。
e.g. Customers poured into the store on the first day of the sale.
