1. end up的用法
end up 结束;结果,后面可以接不同的形式。
(1) end up doing 以……结束;最后;最终
If you keep procrastinating, you'll end up missing the deadline.
如果你一直拖延,最后会错过截止日期。
We planned to have a picnic, but ended up staying home due to rain.
我们本打算去野餐,但因下雨最后待在了家里。
(2) end up in在……中结束,以……方式结束
Their argument ended up in a temporary breakup.
他们的争吵以暂时分手告终。
His risky investment ended up in heavy losses.
他的高风险投资以惨重损失结束。
(3) end up with 用……结束
The party ended up with a beautiful fireworks show.

注意:
(1) end up doing不是“结束做某事”,不能将其理解为finish doing sth.或stop doing sth.,可理解为do sth.in the end。
(2) end up in sth.有时表示意料之外的结果。
2. no matter how + adj./ adv.+句子
“no matter how + adj./ adv.+句子”引导的是一个让步状语从句,意为“无论……”或“不管……”。
No matter how busy you are, make time for exercise.
无论多忙,都要抽时间锻炼。
No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't solve the puzzle.
无论他怎么努力,都解不出这个谜题。
No matter how fast the car went, it couldn't catch the train.
无论汽车开得多快,都追不上火车。
注意:
(1) 在no matter how + adj./ adv.句式中,可以用however来代替no matter how。
(2) no matter后可接其他的疑问词,如:no matter who; no matter which; no matter what; no matter when; no matter where +句子来引导一个让步状语从句。

3. It is true that 句型
在“It is true (clear, obvious, possible, certain...) that”句型中,It是形式主语,真正的主语是that引导的从句。
It is true that practice makes perfect in learning a new skill.
确实,学习新技能时“熟能生巧”。

很明显,气候变化影响地球上的每一个人。
4. can not help doing sth. 忍不住做某事
She couldn’t help laughing at the funny video.
