The death of a loved one is one of the hardest things people can bring themselves to talk about. And I will never
forget that day in my life.
That is November 7th,2015. I remember the day as if it just happened last week. I went to school that day, thinking
that it was going to be a usual day at school.
To my surprise, my mother picked me and my sister up from school and when we were all in the car, she shared the
news neither me nor my little sister could have ever expected:my grandfather had just passed away. Time seemed to
stop.I will never forget my heart sinking(失落)and feeling a thud (重击)inside myself, and I was so stunned that I
couldn’t move or speak for a minute. My ears rang with my sister's cries, who was only 7 at the time.
I didn't want to accept that a man I had known and loved from the time I was a baby would disappear in my life.
Besides, the other scene from that day that I won't forget was seeing my father crying for the first time.
My father came home from work that night, much earlier than he usually would. I saw my father, a man who I
considered large, serious, and fearless, crying into my mother's arms, and repeating that he had missed the chance to say
goodbye. His father, his role model, and his own hero had just left the world forever.
The death of my grandfather was an event which made me grow up overnight and realize the true meaning of loss.

The Father of China's Nuclear Submarines(核潜艇)-Huang Xuhua
Huang Xuhua, a great Chinese scientist, passed away on February 6th, 2025. His amazing
achievements and strong spirit will always stay in our hearts and keep guiding China toward a brighter future.
Born in Guangdong Province in 1926, Huang witnessed the pains of his homeland under foreign aggression(侵略)
during his childhood. These painful memories made him study harder, as he wanted to use his knowledge to make China
stronger.
In the 1950s, when China began developing nuclear submarines-a very difficult task-Huang bravely joined the project.
At that time, China didn't have advanced technology or enough materials. It was like climbing a very high mountain. To
keep the project secret, Huang and his team stopped contacting(联系)even their families. He left his hometown and didn't return for many years.
They faced many problems while designing the submarine. For example, creating a nuclear reactor(核反应堆)was
really hard. Without help from other countries, they did all the research themselves. Using simple tools like abacuses
(算盘)and rulers, they.did countless calculations(计算)and experiments. Another big challenge was making sure
the submarine could stay stable(稳定的)underwater. After many tests, they finally solved these difficulties.
In the 1970s, China successfully built and tested its first nuclear submarine, joining only a few countries that could do
this. Huang didn't stop working- he kept improving submarine technology. His efforts won him many honors, including
China's top national award, the "Medal of the Republic" in 2019.
Today, as we remember Huang Xuhua, we learn from his life story. We young people should follow his example. Let's
continue his work, face challenges bravely, and build a stronger China together. This is how we can truy honor his memory.

密),and consider setting up a guest network for your smart devices. This will help stop strangers from visiting your
network and devices.

A.they are easy to buy B. they make their life easier to manage

Three possible versions: One thing I kept doing A
In the past year, reading is the thing I've stuck to. At first, I just read for 15 minutes every day to relax.
Gradually, I fell in love with it and spent more time exploring different books.
This habit has brought me many benefits. By reading, I've improved my vocabulary and writing skills. I also
gained knowledge and opened my mind. Besides, it helps me reduce stress and find inner peace.
Looking back, I'm proud that I kept reading. It's not only a hobby but also a lifelong treasure. I'll surely keep it
up in the future.
B
Last year, I decided to keep running every morning. At first, I felt tired and wanted to give up. But I told myself
to hold on.
Gradually, running became a habit. I became healthier and felt more energetic. What's more, I learned to be
more patient and determnined. When facing difficulties in study, I would think of my running experience and
keep going.
Now,I believe that as long as we keep doing something, we can overcome challenges and achieve our goals.
C
As we know, what we keep doing every day is very important for us to achieve our goals. That's why I keep
reading every day no matter how busy I am. I usually spend about one hour a day reading my favorite books
and I often share what I read with my friends. I like reading books about all kinds of fields, such as Chinese
traditional culture. Reading not only brings me knowledge, but also teaches me how to get on well with others
and how to be a better person.Keeping reading helps me open up my eyes to the outside world. The more I
read, the wiser I will be.

They first took students on a space station tour. They showed students their kitchen, working area and bedrooms. After
that, they did some tests. For example, one astronaut tried to walk and turn around in the space station. The test showed
that people could not move easily in the space station. They also answered questions from students. When answering a
student's question about water,Wang Yaping said the water they drank was recycled and that the taste wasn't different
from that of the normal water.
The first "Tiangong Class" made students interested in space science. More students would like to work for China's space
industry because of the class.
