From then on,I was absorbed in my work every day after school.Hardly had I arrived home from school
when I dived into selecting fabrics and sketching patterns of the tie.The following days witnessed how I
struggled with all possible kits like scissors.Cautious yet determined,I carefully applied the needle and thread
in fabric pieces.Threading the needle,I sewed the pieces together,my eyes fixed intently on the task.Mom,
sensing my awkward cuts,demonstrated how to operate the scissors.With each stitch,I poured my love and
gratitude into the patchwork tie,eager to surprise Dad on Father's Day.
Finally,Father's Day came.Eager and excited,I held out the gift,my heart racing.Dad unwrapped the
box,inside which was the tie I had painstakingly spent days making.The instant he opened it,he gasped,his
eyes widening in disbelief."Did you...make this "he asked,his voice softening to a tone I rarely heard.Too
nervous to speak,I nodded slightly,a sense of pride swelling within me.Dad immediately put it on,his fingers
tenderly tracing the stitched fabric."Perfect,"he whispered,pulling me into a warm hug that made me feel safe
and loved.At dinner,with the new tie safely put in his pocket,Dad joked,"No soup threats today!"Our warm
laughter filled the house,echoing through the rooms.
