A: Me, too. Keeping a diary helps me remember what happened in my day. It's like a personal(个人的) history book.
B: Exactly(完全正确)! Also, it's a great way to record(记录) my thoughts and feelings. When I'm happy or sad, I can pour out(倾吐) my heart in the diary.
A: That's true. And writing regularly(定期地) in a diary can improve(提高) my writing skills. I get to practice using different words and sentence structures(句子结构).
B: Yeah, and sometimes when I have new ideas, whether they're about books I've read or things I've seen, I can write them down in the diary. It's like a collection(收藏品) of my inspiration(启发).

We took a coach from our school to get there. We were all excited! The museum is in a large building. We walked slowly through(穿过) the big rooms. Now I'm more interested in our art class and want to learn how to make sculptures. What a great day!

Group 2: In a Science Museum
What did you see or do there : We saw a lot of amazing scientific exhibits(陈列). There were models of the solar system(太阳系模型), interactive displays(互动展示) about electricity(电) and magnetism(磁力), and even a section(部分) on ancient inventions(古代发明). We got to participate in(参与) some hands-on experiments(实践实验), like making a small electric circuit(电路) and seeing how it worked.
How did you feel : We were really excited and curious(好奇的). It was like opening a door to a whole new world of knowledge. Every exhibit seemed to spark our interest(激发我们的兴趣) and made us eager to learn more about science.
Did you learn anything : Definitely(当然)! We learned a great deal about scientific principles(科学原理) that we had only read about in textbooks before. For example, we now have a better understanding of how light travels and how simple machines work. It made us realize tht science is all around us and not just something in books.
Group 1:At the Beach
What did you see or do there :We saw the vast blue sea stretching to the horizon(延伸至地平线) The golden sand was so soft under our feet. We built sandcastles(沙堡) together, and some of us went swimming in the cool water. Also, we watched the seagulls(海鸥) flying around and diving into the sea to catch fish.
How did you feel : We felt extremely relaxed and happy. The sound of the waves crashing(碰撞) against the shore was so soothing(宽心). The warm sunshine made us feel cozy, and being away from the busy city life was a great relief(减轻).
Did you learn anything : We learned about the importance of environmental protection(环保). We saw some litter(垃圾) on the beach and realized that we should do our part to keep such beautiful natural places clean. Also, we learned a bit about different types of sea creatures(海洋生物) from observing the seagulls and fish.

We quickly ran towards the person. It turned out to be a little girl who had slipped(滑) and twisted(扭) her ankle(脚踝). We tried to comfort her and one of us took out a first-aid kit(急救箱) we had brought. While we were treating(治疗) her ankle, the rain gradually stopped. After making sure the girl was okay, we helped her walk back to her campsite(营地). That day, not only did we enjoy the beauty of the mountains, but also experienced(感受) the warmth of helping others.

A Surprising Gift
On her birthday, Lily received a mysterious box. There was no name on it. Curious, she opened it. Inside was a tiny, glowing plant. Suddenly, the plant started to speak! It said it was from a far-away magical land and was sent to be Lily's friend. Lily was shocked but excited.
Every day, the plant shared stories of its magical home. Lily took good care of it. Together, they had many happy times, and the plant became Lily'd most precious birthday gift.
