In January 2025, the Chinese AI company DeepSeek introduced its new open source model, DeepSeek R1.
This smart program can solve math problems, write code (代码), and answer questions like top models such as
OpenAI’s GPT-4o. And in some fields, it even performs better than the world’s best apps.
What amazes the world most is that the developers used less powerful chips than those used by leading
competitors (对手). DeepSeek R1 was trained with very little money. The team spent only $5.58 million (1/70 of
OpenAI’s cost) and used 2,048 computer chips for two months. This means that the cost for users will be lower
than that offered by other competitors.
DeepSeek R1 learns by trying many times and getting better, like how students practice maths. Other AIs

One day, while his mother was out hunting, the gray cub(幼兽) found the way out of the cave. At first, he

At last, as a middle school student, I plan to finish my homework on time and
read more meaningful books in the next two months. Besides, I am going to travel to
Beijing to learn more about the history and culture with my parents. Just as the saying
goes, read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles.
