本文标题虽未给出,但首段便点明 “People know animals do have feelings...scientists have done research about the feelings of cows, frogs and pandas.”,接着引出关于鸡的研究,由此可知文章围绕动物情感研究,重点阐述鸡的情感研究。再看尾段,“The result shows that humans have the natural ability to understand the feelings of chickens.”
表示因果关系的词如because,since,for,as,thus,therefore,hence,due to,owing to,thanks to,on account of,result in, result from,so,as a result,for this reason,so...that...,such...that...
线索词such as, such...as, for example, for instance, like , including, especially等。
3.忠实于原文,以文章提供的事实和线索为依据进行合理推断。不能主观臆想,凭空想象,随意揣测,更不能以自己的观点代替作者的观点;
4. 表示总结或结论的句子常包含therefore, thus, in short, conclude, conclusion等词,通常是主旨。
1.概括性:概括全文,体现主旨;
2.针对性:内涵相符,范围一致;
3.新颖性:新颖奇特,吸引眼球;
如本文中 “research(研究)”“feelings(情感)”“recordings(录音)”“volunteers(志愿者)”“ability(能力)” 等词。

The UNESCO added “Spring Festival” to the World Intangible Cultural Heritage on December 4th, 2024. The Spring Festival is one of the most important festivals both in China and around the world.
What do you usually do during this festival Clean up the rooms, hang red lanterns or watch Spring Festival Gala All of them are traditions during the Spring Festival. But there is another key part to the celebrations: putting up the red Spring Festival couplets!
Couplets, also named duilian, are a special form of literature in China. They came from taofu in Zhou Dynasty and people put up couplets on the door to keep away from evil spirits (辟邪). Every Spring Festival, whether in cities or villages, rich or poor, every family will carefully choose a pair of couplets and put it up.
Here are a few rules for the couplets. The first line is on the right, and the second line is on the left. Each line must have the same number of words. The second line is similar to the first line in both grammar and artistic conception (意象). Finally, a short phrase called crossing (横批) is also needed to make up the couplets. Passage19(2025·安徽宿州·模拟预测)
Did you know that much of the world’s pollution comes from building materials (材料), like bricks (砖), used in our homes According to the United Nations Environment Program, about 40% of human-made pollution comes from these materials. But what if nature could help us create bricks in a cleaner way
Scientists are now exploring how to make bricks from mushrooms (蘑菇). For example, Professor Han Wosten and his team at Utrecht University in the Netherlands are developing mushroom bricks. They mix mushrooms with farming waste, such as hay (干草).
The mushrooms grow on the hay for about two weeks and can then be changed into different materials. “If we press it, we can get something like hardboard,” Wosten explained.
Mushroom bricks produce much less pollution compared to traditional materials. They are also eco-friendly, meaning they won’t pollute the land when thrown away. Additionally, mushroom materials have the ability to repair themselves. If a wall in your house is broken, you can regrow the mushrooms to fix it. NASA scientists are even considering using them to “grow” houses on the moon or Mars, reducing the need to transport heavy building materials into space.
However, more research is needed. “It’s too early to say your house will be all made of mushrooms,” said researcher Phil Ayres. Even so, progress is underway, and the future of mushroom materials appears promising.
78.According to the text, where does much of the world’s pollution come from
A.Factories. B.Cars. C.Bricks. D.Trash.
79.Why are scientists interested in using mushrooms to make bricks

3.忠实于原文,以文章提供的事实和线索为依据进行合理推断。不能主观臆想,凭空想象,随意揣测,更不能以自己的观点代替作者的观点;
4. 表示总结或结论的句子常包含therefore, thus, in short, conclude, conclusion等词,通常是主旨。
1.概括性:概括全文,体现主旨;
2.针对性:内涵相符,范围一致;
3.新颖性:新颖奇特,吸引眼球;
如本文中 “research(研究)”“feelings(情感)”“recordings(录音)”“volunteers(志愿者)”“ability(能力)” 等词。

Passage20(2025·河北邯郸·一模)
You may have a house robot that can do housework for you. But is it so smart Meet Laura, a robot in the National Library in Madrid, Spain, copying out the old books and writings in its collection. See Aurora, a headless dog-sized robot used to keep birds and other animals away at an Alaskan airport: Watch another 1.8-meter-tall legless robot called EveR6, waving its arms to guide musicians through a performance.
Those robots above require artificial intelligence (AI) AI is a computer system that can understand languages, make decisions and solve problems. Passage22(2025·浙江台州·一模)
A Chinese company called DeepSeek has surprised many experts by creating its own AI software. AI is a computer system that can learn from experience and do tasks that normally need human thinking.
DeepSeek uses AI, which can create things like texts and pictures based on (基于) what a person puts in. For example, you could ask it to write a shopping list, make up a story or you could use it to have a chat. Other popular AI tools, most of which were created in the US, include OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini.
The company behind DeepSeek’s new app is based in China. It has fewer than 200 people working for it. DeepSeek said it cost 4. 8 million to develop its software. This is much less than the 80 million that OpenAI’s boss said was spent on its latest ChatGPT model.
The low cost of developing DeepSeek has made people ask whether US-based technology companies really need to spend so much on their AI software. What’s more, DeepSeek is open, which means anyone can check how it was built. In addition, DeepSeek’s user experience is excellent. Its chat website and mobile app are free to use. They have a simple and clear design, so it’s easy for users to start using them. A few days after DeepSeek’s new software came out, it became the most downloaded free app in the US.
However, some people are worried. They fear their information could easily be stolen by others or end up being misused by people who should not be allowed to have it. But overall, no AI tools right now can completely promise to keep users’ information safe and private. And no one can doubt that DeepSeek has made a big difference in the AI field and is likely to bring more surprises in the future.

Passage23(2025·四川内江·一模)
On January 20, 2025, a Chinese tech company named DeepSeek made a new AI called DeepSeek-R1.
This smart program can solve math problems, write code (代码), and answer questions like top models such as OpenAI’s GPT-4o, but it costs much less to build. The team spent only $ 5.58 million (1/70 of OpenAI’s cost) and used 2,048 computer chips (计算机芯片) for two months. This shows that good ideas can beat big money.
DeepSeek-R1 learns by trying many times and getting better, like how students practice math. Other AIs need many prepared examples, but R1 improves by itself. For example, in a global math test, it got 79.8% right, slightly higher than OpenAI’s model. A simple version of R1 can even run on low-cost computers, helping schools and small companies.
DeepSeek-R1 is free to use and change. On its first day online, over 19,000 programmers worldwide started projects to study it. A German scientist said experiments with R1 cost $ 10 instead of $ 300 with other AIs. Even Meta ( a famous U.S. tech company ) top scientist said, “This kind of free AI could change the world.”
U.S. tech companies are worried. Meta plans to spend $ 65 billion more on AI research. Experts say China is catching up fast. A report in Nature magazine called R1 a “big step forward”, showing that smart ideas beat expensive tools.

Passage24(2025·陕西西安·模拟预测)
China is making efforts to help people manage their weight and lead healthier lives. The government has started a three-year “Weight Management Year” program from 2024 to 2027 to fight against obesity, which can lead to serious health illnesses. Here’s what you should know about the latest instructions.
Firstly, it is necessary to check your BMI (Body Mass Index). For adults, a healthy BMI is from 18.5 to 24. If your BMI is between 24 and 28, you are overweight; a BMI of 28 or higher is considered as obesity. Moreover, you need to know the size of your waist: men should keep it under 90 cm, and women under 85 cm.
Eating right is important, and exercise matters just as much! When it comes to diet, choose whole grains like brown rice, fresh vegetables, and high-protein foods such as fish, chicken, or beans. Keep away from fried foods and high-sugar snacks, and also reduce your salt and oil intake. To our surprise, the instructions even include some local dishes—like the “strewed fish” from Northeast China or the “noodles with pepper oil” from the Northwest.
When it comes to exercise, you are advised to do sports like walking, cycling or dancing for 150-300 minutes each week, plus strength exercises twice a week. If you find yourself sitting for a few hours while studying, make sure to stand up and stretch for 3-5 minutes every hour.
In addition to diet and exercise, small daily habits can also help. Teens should get 7 hours of sleep nightly, as poor sleep can increase weight, too. Try eating vegetables first, then meat, and finally rice or bread during meals to control the amount of food.
Schools and hospitals are also giving a helping hand. For example, schools across the country are encouraged to provide at least a P. E. class a day. Hospitals have set up special “weight management clinics”, where doctors provide personalized diet and exercise plans. By 2030, China hopes to slow down the growth of obesity through education and support.
Remember, losing weight isn’t about going for perfection—only start with small changes, like drinking water instead of other drinks or taking the stairs instead of the elevator. With these small steps, everyone can build a healthier future!
The word “obesity” means a condition of being too fat.
The word “waist” means the middle part of the human body.
100.If a man’s BMI is 30, he ________.
A.is in good health B.needs to lose some weight
C.has a perfect body shape D.must go to hospital
101.What can we infer from the text about the relationship between sleep and weight
A.Longer sleep always leads to weight loss.
B.Sleep has nothing to do with weight.
C.Adults need less sleep than teens to control their weight.
D.Enough sleep helps teens keep a healthy weight.
102.Which of the following best shows the structure of the passage (①= Paragraph 1 ②= Paragraph 2, …)
A.B. C. D.
103.What is the best title for this passage
A.The Importance of Eating Right B.Disadvantages of Obesity

Passage25(2025·辽宁鞍山·一模)
Vocabulary memorization became an exciting adventure for Class 8 students at Sunshine Middle School. Their English teacher, Ms. Zhang, decided to test AI-assisted learning by inputting 20 new words from Unit 3 into DeepSeek with clear instructions: “Create a 300-word story about space exploration for eighth graders, using all target vocabulary (目标词汇) naturally.” Within seconds, DeepSeek created The Mars Adventure—a thrilling tale where words like “atmosphere”, “experiment”, and “technical” were bolded (粗体的) in context.
The story followed astronaut Emma, who collected rock samples on Mars while solving unexpected problems. When her oxygen tank alarm rang, she calmly checked its “pressure”, showing quick thinking. Students later did some exercises based on the story.
Wang Yue, who used to score lowest in vocabulary tests, became enthusiastic: “Remembering ‘gravity’ is easier when it’s part of Emma’ s struggle to walk on Mars! The AI-made comics (漫画) explaining ‘experiment’ steps are cooler than textbooks.” DeepSeek’s tracking (追踪) system also helped. If students confused similar words like “effect” and “affect”, it sent customized (定制的) practice sentences through the school app.
However, Ms. Zhang reminded the class: “AI stories are just starters. Real improvement comes when you use these words in speeches or diaries.” She shared progress data—80% of students improved their quiz scores by 20% after two weeks. “Next month,” she announced, “we’ll use DeepSeek to create our own sci-fi stories!” The classroom erupted in cheers, proving that with smart tech support, even vocabulary drills (训练) could spark joy.

Passage27(2025·山东德州·一模)
Dads have Father’s Day. Moms have Mother’s Day. Kids have Children’s Day. But do our grandparents have a special holiday Yes, they do!
The Double Ninth Festival is a special day for elderly people in China. The festival is on the ninth day of the ninth month of the lunar calendar. As the Chinese word for nine has the same sound as the word for long, people take the Double Ninth Festival to show their wishes for long life for elderly people.
There are many traditions for this festival. On that day, families get together and climb mountains for luck and in the hope that elderly people will live much longer. They also drink chrysanthemum wine (菊花酒) and wear a plant called zhuyu to celebrate it. Both chrysanthemum and zhuyu are regarded as clean plants that can clean houses and cure (治疗) diseases.
Respecting elderly people is shown not only on this special day but also in daily life. For example, when an older person enters a room, everyone stands up. When there are several guests at the table, the host usually introduces them from the oldest to the youngest. When a younger person is presenting something to an older person, two hands are used.
It is a traditional virtue (美德) in China to respect elderly people. That’s because the Chinese know that elderly people have knowledge and experience that young people can learn from. So, Chinese people are proud of being old. Besides, to respect the elderly is to respect yourself tomorrow.

Passage28(2025·浙江台州·一模)
① How did you spend your last holiday Did you just stare at a screen from morning till night Well, you are not alone. A new survey shows that the average Chinese person spends over five and a half hours online every day. That’s a lot of time scrolling (滚屏) and watching videos! But is this really helping us relax, or is it just making our brains tired
② First, let’s think about how we spend our time online. Most of us watch short videos rather than learning something new. This kind of low-value material doesn’t help us relax—it actually makes our thinking less clear. The term “brain rot” perfectly describes what happens when we spend too much time on meaningless online things.
③ Meanwhile, using the internet is like eating your favorite snack: it’s hard to stop. Our phones and tablets are full of endless short videos and memes, making them like personal fun factories. It’s easy and comfortable to just sit and scro
