taken to Europe many years ago. Most of them were from Gansu, Qinghai, and Shaanxi. The event showed China
and Italy are working well together to stop the illegal trade of cultural relics, China Daily reported.
The return of lost cultural relies is important in many ways. For the countries holding these objects,
returning them is the right thing to do. It helps bring back parts of history and shows respect (尊 重 ) to the

51.a 52.countries 53.On 54.successfully 55.best 56.added 57.themselves 58.
finishing 59.when 60.to show
故填 a。
故填 On。
“result”。故填 best。
根据“he was three years old”可知,此处是指他三岁的时候,应
故填 when。
hope to do sth.“希
故填 to show。

Dear Mike,
I’m glad to share with you some interesting facts about how AI helps us in learning.
First, AI can help me create a personalized study plan. It analyzes my strengths and weaknesses and gives
me suggestions. Second, it helps me solve difficult problems. If I’m stuck on a math question, I can ask AI for
help. Lastly, AI supports me in improving my language skills by checking my grammar and suggesting better
ways to write sentences.
However, we should be careful. If we use AI too much, we might stop thinking for ourselves. We might
also become less creative and depend too much on technology.
All in all, AI is a great tool, but we should use it wisely. Let’s use AI to help our learning, but not let it take
the place of our own efforts.
Yours,
Li Hua

In November 2024, Italy returned 56 cultural relics (文物) to China. These objects were illegally (非法地)
taken to Europe many years ago.
It helps bring back parts of history and shows respect (尊 重 ) to the
countries where the relics came from. As the website Returning Heritage points out, the act is “a means of doing
fairness for past wrongs”.
For the receiving country, getting back cultural relics helps improve national pride and unity (团结). It is
good for the economy (经济), too, because these objects can draw more tourists to visit museums and historical
places. There will also be more money spent on protecting the objects and improving museums, which will create
more jobs. Besides, returning relics can encourage scientific studies and help people learn more about history and
culture.
On an international level, returning cultural relics is seen as an act of goodwill. It helps countries get along
better, understand each other more and open the door to greater cooperation in the future. China is working hard
to bring home lost cultural relics. According to Xinhua, up to 17 million relics have been taken away since the
Opium War in the 1840s. As of November 2024. China had successfully brought back more than 2,113 cultural
relics over the past 12 years, said the National* Cultural Heritage Administration. China has also signed
agreements with 27 countries, including Italy, Peru, the US and Australia, to deal with the stealing, looting (掠夺)
and illegal export (出口) of cultural objects.
28.What does the underlined expression “a means of doing fairness for past wrongs” mean
A.A way to create new cultural relics.
B.A way to correct historical mistakes.
C.A way to punish people who stole relics.
29.For the receiving country, which is NOT the importance of getting back the lost cultural relics
A.Improving its national pride and unity.
B.Encouraging it to do scientific research.
C.Creating more history museums nationwide.
30.What can we infer (推断) from the text
A.China is still working hard to get back relics, but many are still lost.
B.China will successfully get back all of the lost relics in the near future.
C.Agreements with other countries have stopped the illegal trade of relics.
