The school year began. As president of the recycling club, Scott was thinking about new activities to encourage more students to join in recycling. His club members had helped to recycle a lot of waste for five years and he hoped to do even better this year.
One day Scott searched online to find ideas for new activities. During his research, he learned that the amount of electronic waste, or e waste, was increasing rapidly. Scott was upset for not noticing this problem sooner. So he began to develop a plan.
“We have all heard about e waste, but recently I learned how bad it is for our environment，” Scott said. He told the club members that they had to arrange an e waste drive activity.
