I had a white board that I would write on.

Cameron Patterson, a British student, spent his childhood in China. He has seen many great changes in the country over the past 15 years, especially trains.
At the age of 8, Patterson moved from Wales to join his father in Shanxi. In the following years, he and his parents lived in a few cities. They also travelled a lot during holidays. However, travelling itself wasn’t always relaxing. When his family moved from Jiangsu to Guangdong, they took the old green train and spent one and a half days on the trip.
Now with high-speed(高速的) trains, life has become much easier. Long and boring trips in the past have become shorter. Also, the modern trains are more comfortable. “A coin(硬币) wouldn't move at all on the table of a fast-moving train,” he said excitedly.
Patterson was glad to see these changes in China, but he also wondered how they happened. When he read a poem about China's role model(榜样) Jiao Yulu in 2015, he got the answer. Jiao was seriously ill at that time, but still kept working to help people till the end of his life. Jiao devoted himself to improving people’s life. “He was really great. I learn a lot from him,” said Patterson.
Patterson now works as a Confucius Institute volunteer at Lancaster University. “I’m proud to act as a bridge between the UK and China and help the two peoples know about each other’s cultures better.”

①From friendships to trouble in work, more Chinese people are now using AI tools like Deepseek to talk about their problems. They share feelings with the chatbot( 聊 天 机 器 人 ) and get warm advice. This is called “AI therapy( 疗愈)”, which is becoming popular online. But can robots( 机器人) really do the work of human therapists
②Around the world, 45% of people who needed mental(心理的) health care in 2024 did not get it because it was too expensive or there weren’t enough doctors, according to Huntington Psychological Services. Daniel Lowd, a professor(教授) at the University of Oregon, believes AI could help with this problem. “It will be wonderful if people can find some help and ideas by talking to ChatGPT or Deepseek,” Lowd told Newsweek. Li Yong, a doctor at the Jiangsu Province Hospital, agreed with Lowd, saying that AI meets people’s needs for mental help in some ways.
③However, AI has its limits. Human therapists understand feelings deeply through face-to-face talks and make special plans to help—something robots can’t copy. Another problem is safety. AI might act like a therapist without the right training or rules. So something dangerous may happen during the treatment.
④ ▲ For example, Wysa, an AI mental health app, follows strict(严格的) rules in the UK. As AI becomes part of daily life, finding a middle ground between its advantages(优势) and risks is important. While AI offers quick help, it still cannot copy human connections. There's still a long way to go.
61. What is “AI therapy”
A. Use AI tools in our daily lives. B. Make friends with an AI chatbot.
C. Look for help from an AI chatbot. D. Finish homework with the help of AI.
62. What does Daniel Lowd think of“AI therapy”
A. Useful. B. Uncertain. C. Useless. D. Difficult.
63. Which one is TRUE according to the passage
A. People dislike AI therapy because it is not cheap.
B. Li Yong thinks AI therapy is helpful for mental health.
C. AI therapy is always safe to use for mental health treatment.
D. Human therapists cannot understand people's feelings deeply.
64. Which of the following can be put into the “ ▲ ” in Paragraph 4
A. AI therapy is useless and should be stopped.
B. AI therapy is better, faster, and cheaper.
C. Human therapists are no longer needed.
D. AI therapy is growing fast but needs strict rules.
65 .What will the passage probably discuss next
A. Examples of AI therapy apps.
B. The importance of human therapists.
C. More advantages of AI therapy.
D. Ways to make AI therapy better to use.

Noisy neighbors are a common problem in society. A noisy neighbor can make life difficult, especially if noise goes well into night, or happens during early morning hours. This situation needs to be dealt with in a proper way. Here is some advice for you.
You should first try to tell your noisy neighbors about the noise. This conversation should be polite. It can begin with a sentence like “I am not sure if you notice it”. Make the problem clear to your neighbor by giving more facts in an honest way, and ask the neighbor to turn down the music, or not to hold parties until 3 a. m. You can add that sometimes you make noise too, and you are certainly willing to try to stop making any noise.
You should know that not all neighbors are going to take your advice, and some may act in a bad manner. If the noisy neighbors don’t change their behavior, the next step should be to write the neighbors a letter. The letter should show your unhappiness and the exact time when the noise is quite terrible. For example, if your neighbor has loud parties every Friday night, then write down those dates.
When the noise keeps going on, you should report it to local authorities (权力部门), or even call the police, when it is really necessary. Usually, the problem is solved when the noisy neighbor knows you are going to call the police.
Remember that you cannot always ask noisy neighbors to be quiet. If you have completed the steps and letter, don’t start hitting walls or floors around in your home or turning up the music to make your neighbors angry. Just have patience and keep in mind that communication is the most important.

Let’s take action!
We teenagers are the master of the future.
On the one hand, we need to pay attention to manners. When traveling, we should shake hands with the person we first meet. It is impolite to point our chopsticks at others while eating with them. And don’t make noise when we have our soup. What’s more, we should bring a gift when we are invited to a party and be sure to arrive on time or a few minutes earlier.
On the other hand, our environment is changing for the worse, so it is time for us to go green! First of all, water is the source of life and every one of us should play a part in saving water. Secondly, we should use plastic bags less to reduce pollution. When we go to the supermarket, we should take a cloth bag with us. Last but not least, when we go out or travel, we should choose public transport as often as possible, because this will make less pollution.
I hope everyone can act to build a better world together.
