Dong Lina, the first visually impaired master of broadcasting(视障播音硕士) in China. Dong Lina was born into a farmer's family in Dalian. Dong went blind at the age of 10. Like many blind children, she finished her education and learnt tuina. Though the money she got was enough for daily use, she wanted to have a different life. She was always looking for chances to continue her education at work.
One day, she heard that there was a training program for blind youth radio hosts in Beijing. Dong, who had been praised for having a good voice since her childhood, realized that this might be her crucial chance. So she gave herself the courage to make a change. The first time on the broadcast host class, Dong Lina was deeply moved. For the first time she realized how moving the sound was.
Since that, it was a new page in her life. At school, she worked harder to change her life. In 2010, Dong took part in a national competition, in which the people were moved by her ability and encouraged her to study at the Communication University of China.
On June 28, Dong Lina, the first blind master of broadcasting in China, gave a speech at the graduation ceremony (毕业典礼) of 2023 held by the Communication University of China. She said, “Graduation is the end and the beginning. May we have dreams and keep love. Recently, I asked a seeing friend who had just walked in the woods what she had noticed. “Nothing special，” she replied.

The keys to being prepared for exams and avoiding unnecessary exam stress are knowing what you need to know, planning and preparing for your revision(复习), and giving yourself enough time to do it.
