短文填空的文章多以记叙文和议论文为主,题目一般设置10个空,每空一词。主要有考查形式:提示填空(一般7个,包括名词、代词、形容词、副词、动词、数词等)和无提示填空(一般冠、介、连词等3个)。
基本步骤:
一、通读全文,了解大意。
二、结合语法,逐句分析。
三、复读全文,检查答案。
具体解题方法如下:
1、无提示填空:要认真阅读句子,正确理解句意,并注意以下情况:
介词 常用用法及固定词组搭配
冠词 不定冠词a/an 定冠词the
连词 上下文逻辑、特殊句式 (and,or, but,because,so等)
2、提示填空:既要认真阅读句子,正确理解句意,又要分析应填词在句中充当的句子成分,正确判断应填词的词性。
若为名词,应注意其单复数、可数还是不可数及其所有格形式;
若为动词,应注意其人称、数、时态、语态及非谓语动词(固定搭配)形式;
若为代词,注意代词的各种形式变化;
若为形容词、副词,应注意比较等级的三种变化;
若为数词,要注意基数词与序数词的正确选择。
特别提醒:修饰名词或代词时用形容词,而修饰动词、形容词、副词或全句时要用副词。
