At the age of 52, Elaine Plant never expected to become a competitive cyclist (a person who rides a bicycle). Cycling was not a part of her busy life, which was focused on raising three children and running a family business. Our minds and bodies work together. When we hesitate, it might be a sign that we need to pay attention to something important. Imagine standing in front of a door but not wanting to open it. Last weekend, I had an unforgettable experience helping out at some school basketball games with other students from my club. The exciting games took place right on our school grounds.
We arrived early to get things ready, like setting up chairs and water. During the games, I showed people where to sit and helped with tickets. It was very busy, but exciting to be there. Seeing the players work well together and play fairly was great.
