资源简介 中小学教育资源及组卷应用平台教材分析Unit12 Life is full of the unexpected.本单元语法过去完成时不属于初中课标要求,只是为高中的学习做铺垫。近五年中考题从未考查过该语法,建议教师在授课时不使用探究式教学过程,直接讲解即可。教师应根据学生学情, 结合自身教学实际进行本单元的语法教学。本单元的词汇考查在近五年的日照中考考查中比重很少,单词拼写没有涉及,只是在完形填空中出现过till, 单项选择题考查过 stand for。单元教材分析本单元的话题为“unexpected event”,教学内容主要围绕“出乎意料的事”这一中心话题,内容从学生生活琐事、意外事故过渡到生活中出其不意的玩笑,特别是生活中发生的让人难以预料的事情。学生在七、八年级已经学习了一般过去时态、现在完成时态,能够掌握动词过去式、过去分词的基本形式,本单元在复习巩固的基础上,让学生了解用过去完成时谈论过去发生的事情。单元目标话题:难以预料的事情(Unexpected events)功能:讲述过去发生的事情语法:1. 了解过去完成时(Past perfect tense) 2. 语法复习(Review of key structures)能正确的使用由when, before, as, by the time 引导的时间状语从句来表达过去发生的事情。单元重难点重点:让学生能够用适当的时态叙述过去发生的事情,特别是意想不到的事件。难点:让学生明白一般过去时态和过去完成时态的区别,并能正确运用这两种时态叙述过去发生的事情。Section A 课时教学内容介绍1a-1c围绕五幅图片通过看图说话,听力及对话展开,是整个Section A 的基础。 这部分还引入了本单元新的语法结构---过去完成时。2a-2c 是一个完整的听说任务链活动,学习内容依旧围绕女孩Mary 展开,是前面故事的延续。活动2a-2c巩固了对一般过去式和过去完成时两种主要语法结构的认知,并为后面的语法学习做了铺垫。2d作为本单元的口语示范, 讲述了男主Kevin因为晚起错过校车, 但却幸运搭上同学的车上学的小故事。3a-3c是一篇两段式按时间顺序叙述的记叙文,要求学生完成阅读任务,并运用所给的重点词汇复述故事,训练学生语言组织能力和表达能力。一、可以播放视频《世界上最幸运的人》学生感兴趣。网上很多。幸与不幸,全由心生,中国人,天生的乐观主义思想助力我们阔步于社会主义的康庄大道上。引入游戏。游戏一:看谁反应快!教师事先准备一些句子,让学生听并判断所读句子是好的事情或不好的事情。如果是好的事情学生就 Yeah. →cheer up,不好的事情就Oh,no → not very good。可以用类似句子参考:1. When I got up, my mother had already made breakfast for me.2. By the time I got back home, I realized I had left my schoolbag at the playground.. By the time we got to the theater, the play had already begun.游戏二:学生6~8人一组,每组围成一圈。轮流讲一件发生在自己身上的意想不到的事情,其他同学认真听,判断是好事还是不好的事情,分别用Yeah. →cheer up,和Oh,no → not very good表达自己的观点。如果有不同意见,可以让双方陈述原因二、重视读后活动:1、词句理解。教师和学生共同找出语篇中的重点词汇和难句,然后学生小组内讨论。1)教师要求学生浏览练习Section A 3b,先完成词汇练习。2)关于句子,如果学生不能自行找出值得关注的句子,那么教师可给出本单元中含有重要连接词或者引导词的句子,要求学生翻译,从而体会连接词对于句子和语篇连贯的重要性。注意:这种针对语言理解进行的小组讨论,能让英语语言能力较强的学生有发挥的空间,同时帮助其他学生加深对课文的理解。2、根据3c提示的词汇,短语,试着复述课文。如果学生英语程度不是特别高,复述有难度,教师可以另外再提供更多的信息因素帮助学生。分层处理,允许差异性的存在,行行出状元,多元化智能,让所有孩子都可以在阳光下抬起头来,都能沐浴在阳光下3、读后拓展活动,安全教育。教师可以通过展示图片,用简单的英语告诉学生在遇到地震或者火灾的时候,应该如何最大限度地保护自己安全逃生。如果学生英语水平较高,可以让学生看图讲述逃生知识。Safety at first. 安全教育可以拓展的更宽一点儿,因为这是学什么最熟悉的身边的事情。学生有话说,可以混合语表达。只要有表达就大力的赞扬。Section B 部分阅读,感觉有文化侵略的嫌疑,一直认为不久之后也许就会被剔除的可能,因此不再赘述。但是,里边有一些词汇,句型还是需要关注的。lose weight. get married.One of the world's most famous tricks.He described where they had landed and told how they were moving across the United States.Welles made it sound so real that hundreds of people believed the story.三、构词法: unexpected降低学生们的记忆负担,为以后的英语学习打下基础。(更多的例子。)Word building: n+y=adj. n+ful /less语法内容介绍“语法聚焦”部分罗列和梳理了本单元含有when, before, as, by the time等引导词的句子,提供了用过去时态表达同时发生或先后发生的事情参考范例。活动4a要求运用by the time 和 before 把两个句子合并成一个时间状语从句,旨在强化学生对过去完成时态结构的掌握。活动4b要求根据所提供的情景,用动词的正确形式完成句子填空,旨在帮助学生运用和区分过去式和过去完成时态。活动4c是一个半开放性的输出活动,要求学生用所学的句式结构写出昨天发生的三件事,其中有一件事是虚构的。这个练习能在参与的学生之间建立信息差,既能训练巩固学生掌握过去完成时句式结构,还能训练学生的想象力和推理能力,同时具有趣味性,增强学生参与活动的动力。Section B 课时教学内容介绍1a-1e 是一个完整的听说任务链。1a要求学生分辨所给的单词和短语的性质,以此复习与节日有关的词汇,同时学习生词,为后续的听力做铺垫。1b旨在帮助学生巩固、运用前面的词汇,掌握不同词性的词汇在句子中的常见位置。1c要求学生听对话之后选图,是检测学生对听力内容的整体掌握情况。1d要求匹配人物和事件细节,检测的是学生对听力细节的掌握情况。1e是一个控制性的口语输出活动,需要学生根据听力内容展开对话,完成由听力信息输入到口语信息输出的过程。2a-2e 为本单元的重点阅读版块。2a要求学生回忆自己开玩笑会被愚弄的经历。2b练习要求快速阅读文章,匹配各段大意,培养学生通过快速阅读获取段落大意的能力。2c需要学生细读文章,回答与文章细节相关的一系列问题,考查学生对阅读内容的理解。2d要求学生用所给单词的正确形式填空,巩固本单元重点语法和词汇。2e是一个开放性的活动。3a-3b要求学生写出自己幸运的或不幸运的一天。聚焦中考1.形容词embarrassed考查“Didn’t you practice your lesson ” the teacher shouted at me.
