Do you have good eating habits Do you like eating a lot of vegetables It is hard to make children eat all kinds of vegetables for many parents. Kate Green, a mum from the UK, finds a new way to work out the problem. She turns food into works of art in different colors to make meals exciting for her son, Charles.
Charles is a picky eater. He only eats what he likes. So Kate starts to make the meals special and interesting. Her dishes show famous paintings like the Mona Lisa or cartoon characters(动画角色) like Mickey Mouse. She often uses cabbages as grass and shapes rice into different animals and faces. She always tries to use healthy food in different colors to make them beautiful.

One day, a poor farmer was cutting the trees near a river. Suddenly, his iron axe(铁斧) fell into the water. The man searched all day but still couldn’t find it. Feeling sad, he sat down and cried.
Hearing his cries, a kind angel(天使) showed up and asked, “Why are you crying ” The farmer told her about his axe which fell into the river. The angel jumped into the river and soon came back with a golden axe.
“Is this yours ” she asked.
The farmer shook(摇) his head. “No, mine is just an iron axe.”
The angel went back into the water and returned with a beautiful silver(银的) axe. Again, the farmer shook his head, saying, “This isn’t mine either.”
The angel once again went back to the river and finally brought out his old iron axe. Amazed and surprised, the farmer jumped and shouted excitedly, “Yes! This is my axe! Thank you!”
Moved by his honesty(诚实), the angel smiled and said, “Because you always tell the truth, you can keep all the axes.” Then the angel was gone. The farmer took the angel’s gifts and went home gladly.
