Dear friends, I’m truly honored to share my thoughts on “Lifelong Learning”with you today. As the saying
goes, “Never too old to learn.” In a rapidly changing world it is vital to remain lifelong learners. Lifelong
learning enables us to fuel endless curiosity, unlock new possibilities and equip us with skills to adapt to new
challenges. Without it, we risk being left behind in this fast-paced world.
As for me, I integrate lifelong learning into my daily life. To begin with, I make it a daily habit to read
books on various topics, ranging from literature to science, which can sharpen my critical thinking and affect my
character shaping. Additionally, joining clubs allows me to gain hands-on skills such as gardening, bridging
theory with practice. Moreover, field trips, like visits to museums, offer me an immersive learning experience and
bring abstract knowledge to life. What’s equally worth mentioning is that I also subscribe to e-learning courses to
expand knowledge beyond the school curriculum.
In conclusion, in a world of constant changes, we should never cease to learn. Only by refreshing our
knowledge and updating our skills continuously can we stay adaptable and competitive.
Thank you!
第二节 读后续写(满分 25 分)
One possible version:
Daniel decided to help. He dressed warmly, picked up his snow shovel, and stepped into the cold. Without a
word, he walked to Mark’s driveway and began to clear the heavy snow. Soon, the sound of scraping echoed
through the quiet neighborhood. Inside, Mark’s wife noticed and quickly joined Daniel with a broom, brushing
the steps and path. Mark watched from the window, emotion tightening his chest. The sight of Daniel working
steadily, despite the past, made something shift inside him.
A snow-cleared driveway appeared before Mark and his family. Mark rolled to the door, the cold air rushing
in as he looked at the giant figure in the snow. “Thank you,” he said simply, his voice uncertain but sincere.
1
Daniel gave a quiet nod, eyes soft but steady. Mark paused, then added, “I was wrong that day… tired or not, I
shouldn’t have yelled. I’m truly sorry about the roses, and everything.” Daniel’s gaze softened further. That
evening, Mark’s wife brought over dumplings; Daniel’s wife returned the gesture with slices of cake. The snow
kept falling, but between the two homes, warmth had quietly returned—built not by words, but by forgiveness
and shared kindness.

Text 10
Children around the world love playing football, but the kids in a small village in Thailand took their love to
a whole new level. After watching the 1986 FIFA World Cup, the children in the village wanted to create a
football team so that they could take part in the Southern Thai School Championships. (17) The problem
was that their village was a fishing village built on an island, so there was not any room to have a football
field. Many of the village’s buildings were built on the water. (18) (19) The children had an amazing idea —
to build the field on the water. (18) They started working after school to build the field with old bits of wood
and fishing boats. Finally, a 16-meter wide and 25-meter long field was finished, (19) though the full-sized
court is supposed to be 68-meter wide and 105-meter long. To everyone’s surprise, the new team entered the
championship. Although they did not win, they inspired their entire village to get involved in football. (20) Not
only did they finally build a football field on the grass a short distance from their village, but they became one of
the most successful children’s football teams in the world as well.
