Knowing that you are interested in my school-based courses，I’m writing to share my wonderful
experience with you.
Last week，I attended the Chinese classics course，where we deeply explored some ancient poems and
impressive stories. During the course，our teacher vividly explained the cultural backgrounds and we all
engaged in passionate discussions and interpretations. In the end，we even performed a short drama based
on Journey to the West. Personally speaking，this experience not only deepened my understanding of
traditional culture，but also inspired my love for Chinese literature.

I went straight to a tree and sat in the shade. I was so angry that I didn’t want to get too close to the
spring. I couldn’t shake the thought I had held since the beginning：this adventure was nothing but trouble.
My brother，on the other hand，was overwhelmed with joy. He raced into the steaming water，and his
laughter rang out like a beautiful song.“Come on，it’s amazing!”he shouted，his voice filled with genuine
enthusiasm. But I was weighed down by my own anger.
While Mom was busy putting our stuff away，Dad walked over to me. It was clear that he had sensed
my anger even without asking. Then，he began to speak，calmly and steadily，“Every journey has its
challenges，but those are often the moments that teach us the most.”His words sank in，and gradually，
I felt my resistance begin to soften. Slowly，I let go of the weight I had been carrying. I learned that day
how crucial it is to approach life’s challenges with a positive attitude.
