第四部分写作(共两节:满分40分)
第一节(满分15分)
One possible version:
Good morning, everyone!I'm very delighted to be able to stand here and give you a short
speech about my volunteering experience.
I once volunteered at a local nursing home, where I talked with the elderly, listened to their life
stories, and helped with daily chores such as cleaning and organizing books. One elderly man
shared his experiences as a teacher, which inspired me to value knowledge and perseverance.
Seeing their smiles made me realize how small actions can bring great joy.
Through this experience,I have become more patient and responsible.More importantly,I
have leamed that giving is as rewarding as receiving.I encourage all of you to take part in volunteer
work-it will not only benefit others but also shape you into a better person
Thank you for your attention!
第二节(满分25分)
One possible version:
I fought back tears as I walked up to Mrs.Bartlett.My heart pounded as I hesitantly
explained my disappointment and asked if there had been a mistake in the group assignment. With a
calm smile and eyes full of understanding,Mrs.Bartlett assured me that her decision was deliberate,
emphasizing that true learning often begins when one steps out of their comfort zone."Sometimes,"
she said,"the students you least expect to connect with can teach you the most about life, empathy,
and creativity."Although reluctant at first,I realized that her insightful words challenged me to
reconsider my narrow view of friendship and potential.
Halfway through the week,I felt myself enjoying the company of these three misfits. As we
gathered after school in a cozy corner of the library, each of us contributed unique ideas and
talents-Mauro's quiet nature,Juliette's inventive perspectives,and Rachel's thoughtful
humor-combining together to enrich our project. While working on our poster, which described
not only world history but also our diverse experiences,I began to see that Mrs.Bartlett's
unconventional grouping was a masterstroke of teaching.I was fortunate to be given the
opportunity to view them in a new light. The project progressed smoothly thanks to our joint efforts.
Mrs.Bartlett awarded us an A for the assignment-a grade that truly belonged to her,as she was the
one who deserved it most.
