Not as tourists and not for the thrill,but because it feels like home. For Sanket Réddy, a wildlife photographer, that connection isn't just a feeling—— it has become his life.
Over the years, Sanket has spent time in some of the world's most faraway forests.He has met communities whose lives are beautifully in harmony with nature. In a village where an elephant had danaged homes and' crops, “They weren't angry at all. They showed complete understanding. That made me very happy and I felt that we were on the right track,” he says. “They respect animals a lot. They know the importance of every species around them,” he adds.

W: I'd like to share my first exterience of taking an airplane. Knowing that I would for k, I became excited as I had never taken a plane before. But as evening came, the excitement slowly started turning into anxiety.The fact that it would be very dark outside was not comforting at all. By the time we got to the airport, I was wet all over because I had sweated a lot. We were finally called to the boarding gate . Sadly, I had a window seat. When all had boarded and the checks were done, the plane started moving. Slowly at first and then it began to move faster and faster. I closed my eyes. After about 20 minutes of my heart being in mymouth, the plane moved steadily through the sky. As I was sitting there, I felt as if I was sitting in a room. Slowly, I calmed down.
