考点速记
规则变化 一般情况下,在词尾直接加-s house—houses
以s、x、ch、sh结尾的名词,在词尾加-es class—classes;box—boxes
以“辅音字母+y”结尾的名词,变y为i, 再加-es factory—factories
以“元音字母+y”结尾的名词,在词尾直接加-s boy—boys
以o结尾的名词,一般无生命的在词尾加-s;有生命的在词尾加-es photo—photos;potato—potatoes
以f或fe结尾的名词,一般要变f或fe为v,再加-es wolf—wolves;wife—wives
不规则变化 变内部元音 foot—feet;tooth—teeth;goose—geese;man—men;woman—women;mouse—mice
词尾发生变化,加-(r)en child—children
单复数同形 deer;sheep
表示“某国人”的名词复数 单复数形式相同:Chinese;Japanese 变man为men:Englishman—Englishmen; Frenchman—Frenchmen 词尾加-s:German—Germans; American—Americans
名词的修饰语 修饰可数名词 many(许多);several(几个);few(很少;几乎没有);a few(几个);quite a few(相当多);a couple of(两个;几个);a large/great number of(许多)
修饰不可数名词 much(许多);little(很少;几乎没有);a little (一点);a bit of(有一点;少量);a good/great deal of(很多);a large/small amount of(大量的/少量的);冠词/数词+数量词+of+不可数名词(如a glass of water一杯水)
既能修饰可数名词又能修饰不可数名词 some(一些);any(一些;任何一个);most(大多数的);all(全部的);enough(足够的);a lot of(很多);lots of(很多);plenty of(充足的)
