Dear fellow students,
Over the past decades, sharks’ population has dropped quickly.This not only due to fear of
sharks and widespread misunderstanding about them,but also the demand for shark fins.
As students, we can act to reverse this crisis. First, educate others. We can raise the awareness
of protecting sharks through posters,social media,or school presentations—for instance, highlight
that only 10 shark species may attack humans. Second, be a conscious consumer. Refuse shark fin
products and encourage families to choose sustainable seafood. Third, support conservation. Join
beach cleanups to reduce ocean pollution.
Sharks keep marine ecosystems balanced. Losing them would trigger chaos in the ocean food
chain, affecting all life, including ours. Let’s unite together, and remember that our small actions can

Desperate, we searched everywhere for the missing part. We turned the classroom upside
down, checked toolboxes, and even rummaged through trash bins.The clock was ticking, and each
second was a reminder that we were running out of time. My hands were shaking as Alex called
everyone he knew, asking if they’d seen the tiny metal piece.Mr. Thompson kept saying, “Stay calm,
think carefully,” but his forehead was covered in sweat. I opened Omega’s body again, hoping
maybe the part had fallen inside. No luck. Alex kicked the wall and groaned, “This is so unfair!” I
felt tears in my eyes.
Just when we were about to give up, Mr. Thompson had an idea. “We can use this part
instead,”he said, pointing to a part of the robot that was less critical. Although it was a slim chance, it
might just allow Omega to function well enough to compete. Nodding in agreement, we set to work,
our fingers flying as we modified the robot. The experience was a testament to our resilience and the
power of collaboration. When the contest concluded, we were thrilled to earn a position among the
top ten. That day, I learned something bigger than robotics:like high school itself, was about more
than winning; it was about discovering our potential and overcoming difficulties by working
together.
