The Sanxingdui Ruins
In 2023,the new building of the Sanxingdui Museum
opened to the public.It's a place where you can see amazing
artifacts (and learn stories about the ancient Shu
people.Covering 12 square kilometers,the Sanxingdui
Ruins are near Guanghan city,Sichuan province.In 1986,
archaeologists(考古学家)found over 1,700 unusual
artifacts,for example,gold masks（面具).
The Grand Canal(大运河)
The Grand Canal is a man-made waterway with a
history of more than 2,500 ycais.It's the longest man-made
waterway in the world and goes across 27cities in eight
provincial-.level regions(省级地区).Running nearly3,200
kilometers,it has three parts,the Beijing-Hangzhou
Grand Canal,the Sui and Tang Grand Canal,and the
Zhe-dong Canal.
Longmen Grottoes
National Geographic's Best of the World list for 2023
listed 25 places around the world.China's Longmen Grot-
toes（龙门石窟)is on the list..These amazing grottoes are
in Luoyang,Henan province.People started to build them
in the late 5th century.
