Transportation has made the most progress in the past 50 years. In the 1970s, people mainly used bikes or buses. Cars were rare because they were expensive.
Nowadays, there are more cars, and highways are wider. High-speed trains are faster than any other means of transport. A trip that took 10 hours by bus 30 years ago takes only 2 hours by high-speed train now.
The worst transportation in history was probably in the 1800s. People traveled by horse or on foot, and roads were in bad condition. Thanks to development, we can travel more easily than ever.

Changes in My Hometown

Transportation is faster too. Buses were the main means of transport, but now cars are common. The best part is that the environment is cleaner than in the past. I'm proud of these changes!
