Every week, a group of students from Cherry Creek High School come to help old people with anything about technology (科技) at an old people’s home.
When the holidays come, the group helps the old keep connected (联系) with loved ones. “A lot of old people don’t live close to their family, and it’s a really important thing. So being able to set up video communication (视频聊天) and bring people closer during the holidays are meaningful,” said Sunker, the leader (领导) of the group.
The students also give the old advice on preventing scams (预防诈骗). People often get strange calls and easily put themselves in danger. “Once I got a call from my son. He asked me for some money, about 2,000 yuan. Then I gave him the money on my phone without thinking. A week later my son called me and I knew the truth. If you are looking for an amazing place to visit in China, go to Hangzhou, Zhejiang.
Most people choose to go to West Lake first because it is the most famous place in Hangzhou. Around the lake, there are many historical places, such as the Broken Bridge and Lingyin Temple (寺庙).
